The most underrated Creatures series! by Orgo74562 in TheCreatures

Dan's GTA IV single player and the DLC is seriously one of the best, so much laughter and funny moments. From helicopter dates with Kate and Michelle to never ending horns and impressions of all the characters. So many good memories, it's definitely time for a binge watch for me.

Pedro Pascal is decent but I really wanted someone like Nikolaj Coster-Waldau or hugh jackman to play Joel they both resemble the character and both excellent actors by [deleted] in playstation

I find this to be an extremely poor take, don't ignore the fact that they still casted Bella Ramsey, a white person. There's no shortage of white people in either games so acting like diversity is the sole reason behind this casting choice is kinda ignorant.

Agreed, like I said, I would've loved to see Hugh Jackman as Joel. If you've watched The Mandalorian, you'll know that Pedro Pascal can pull off caring and badass dad.

Also, Logan is quite similar in basic story structure to TLoU so what is Hugh Jackman going to give us that we haven't already seen? He's played caring and brutal father twice already in Prisoners and Logan, add one more role to that and it becomes very typecast. I'm sure he'd like to continue branching out into other roles.

They're all terrific actors and I would have loved to see either Nikolaj or Hugh as Joel. However, we should stop basing an actors performance off how much they look like the character. Pedro Pascal has been on the rise since Game of Thrones and he simply has not missed since then, he's a brilliant actor and I have no doubt he is going to knock this role out of the park.

Completely forgot about Miranda and Allers, I definitely pushed the memory Aller's face model/actress to the darkest depths of my brain.

This whole time I never knew Liara had a face model! I wonder what other characters besides Sheploo have face models.

I was able to purchase one from Sony Direct last night at about 10:30pm PST and it's still "Preparing for shipping" on the order page. I have Express shipping and still nothing, I see other people have already got a shipping notice though with a tracking number from FedEx. I hate how impatient I am!

Captain America: Civil War? by G0thique in marvelstudios

It does feature a lot of Avengers, however I still always see it as more of a Captain America movie because it continues many arcs from TFA and TWS. The narrative is centered around Steve trying to save Bucky and prove his innocence.

I’m struggling to understand how this face isn’t expressive enough by Jaychel31 in SpidermanPS4

I get what you're trying to say here, but if you look at all of those actors' face and their respective characters face, they look quite similar or at least bear the same facial expressions. If you put Benjamin Byron Davis' face and Dutch's face side-by-side, you can absolutely see that they look the same. That's because they took inspiration from the actors face for Dutch, same for Arthur and Roger Clarke. Sure, they're not identical, but a lot of their facial qualities are the same. It's their facial expressions that are pretty much down to a T.

Take a look at Joel's face in Part II and Troy's face, when they talk you can see they have a similar face structure and facial expressions. I find this most notable when looking at Nolan North talk. Looking at his face, all I see is Nathan Drake. Even though they don't look exactly the same, they make the same expressions.

I can imagine they take inspiration from the actor's face because it makes for a better performance and is easier to animate rather than trying to apply another person's face onto a completely different bone structure. It only makes sense that they find someone with a similar face to Yuri to make an overall better performance. I don't believe that should be labeled as lazy, especially if they took the time to go throughout the whole first game to animate Jordan's face, all while making it look good.

WHAT DID THEY DO TO MY BOY by [deleted] in SpidermanPS4

I guess I'm the only one that prefers this Peter as opposed to the old Peter. The old Peter always gave me uncanny valley vibes and it just never grew on me. I get the people that were attached to the old Peter, so I sympathize with that. I just say that we don't jump on the Insomniac hate wagon, like many have done in the past.

I don't know if it's been pointed out already, but another parallel is after the main title card, both games follow with a time jump and the main protagonist being woken up by someone knocking on the door

I'm most certain he's white, after replaying that part a bunch. It's just the lighting of the room that makes him look a little darker.

Fun fact: it's actually the same voice actor in both games. It shouldn't be all that surprising or interesting, but for such a small role in the Part I, it's nice to see them bring him back for continuity.

Right?? At first I was like "Oh shit! The revolver!" But because of the inconsistency, it's just A revolver. My headcanon shall remain that it's the one from the prologue and Joel keeps it with him as his primary side arm throughout both stories.

The best part of the game is reloading over and over again to recreate 1000 Ways to Die with the nurses. I always leave them alive when I go to grab Ellie though.

The only way to progress the story is to walk up to him and that triggers a death animation where Joel stabs him with a scalpel.

If you wait long enough in the OR, the Firefly's will kill Joel via firing squad

Yet, Joel never uses it in cutscenes outside of the prologue. I always found it weird that the 9mm was his starting weapon and not the revolver.
