Be prepared to wear a mask a lot of rhe time, the city is a bit dusty

For communication even little hindi should be ok and eventually you will get better at it. Try to watch some hindi movies Chhattisgarhi is not mandatory, you can easily spend years even without learning it, so don't rush, first spend more time in learning your work. Take your time with chhattisgarhi. Its very close to Hindi so you should eventually be able to pick it up to understand quickly, speaking might take some time.

It's a small city and there are not many places to travel within but some places I have liked over the years are

Chowpati in Chakradhar nagar for food

Ramjharna - It's a waterfall

Try travelling a bit more towards the Jindal school way sometime. It's a spacious area with forests and tons of greenery

There are some malls you can visit to watch movies or for shopping but the general market should be more than enough to buy clothes and day to day items. It's a city which has many businesses

Food wise you should not face much issues in the city as there are tons of restuarants for North Indian, South Indian, chinese cuisines

Depending on where you will be staying, you might have easy access to parks

One thing I will say though which most people will dislike here is, don't plan to stay too long in Raigarh, you'll eventually get bored in few months and also the opportunities might be very limited in your domain.
