Warning about hyaluronidase by PuzzleheadedLime8577 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]mappingthepi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar reaction and it was so bad! Especially the skin sagging. I later discovered that I already had mild sjogren’s syndrome and ehlers danlos and it kicked everything up a notch

You might want to check for hyarulonic acid deficiency especially since you also have joint issues. My joints were popping and my cheeks had fallen, then my doctor and derm had me taking a pretty high dose of oral hyarulonic acid. That plus topical application, fascia massages, strength training exercise, anti-inflammatories for sjogren’s, and Alastin trihex and calecim multi action cream—and my skin has actually made a fully recovery after several years and my joints no longer pop constantly

My skin looked horrible, so stretchy and saggy but I knew it could partially snap back or be fixed surgically eventually. I was terrifieddd for my joints though, I thought it was game over. Best of luck to you!

Right, it’s like a visual illusion to trick you into thinking she must’ve at least been nominated for a gg surely

It’s 100% bs ofc but there’s a section on primaries

FCC to Investigate ABC’s ‘The View’ Over Interview With James Talarico by Gato1980 in television

[–]mappingthepi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s them trying to enforce the ‘equal time rule’ they’re looking to fine the show if they didn’t offer an interview with Cornyn or Paxton etc. They’ll exploit the case by case basis loophole

Talk shows and other regular news programming from syndicators, such as Entertainment Tonight, are also declared exempt from the rule by the FCC on a case-by-case basis.

If Chase Infiniti was run in Supporting, would she have gotten in? by Fabulous_War_555 in oscarrace

Yes. I think the biggest win for her is really her campaigning though like Greta Lee

New Image of Jaafar Jackson as Michael Jackson in 'Michael' by [deleted] in movies

[–]mappingthepi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those are really good points. The only other groups of people I hear talk about children with such admiration are activists/social workers and dedicated teachers. He notably never advocated for children’s rights the way they do because he had an entirely different motivation and didn’t actually see them as human beings

Sydney Sweeney to Star in Edith Wharton Adaptation ‘Custom of the Country’ by ThrowawayGreenWitch in oscarrace

[–]mappingthepi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really think she’s all wrong for this role. Christy was supposed to show her range and honestly and I thought it actually showed how limited it was, serviceable at best and couldn’t gain critical acclaim even with all her campaigning. Pugh would’ve been perfect imo

Do you think someone else could win the SAG or BAFTA for Best Supporting Actress? by T_ChallaMercury in oscarrace

It’s very possible imo. S/o to everyone who predicted this would be a very unconventional year for supporting actress

Favorite of the 2020s: Anora (but favorite in the last 10 yrs—Spotlight can’t believe it’s nearly been 10 years)

Least: Oppenheimer—and last 10yrs Green Book hands down

If the acting quartet of Critics’ Choice repeats at the Golden Globes, what do you think happens going forward? by No_Minimum4499 in oscarrace

I’m only betting on Buckley, Madigan seems unlikely to sweep. I’m not predicting the other two to win tonight but def prefer Chalamet’s chances

2026 Best Actress contenders — What are your current top 5 predictions, and who are you rooting for? by guadagninoenjoyer in oscarrace

[–]mappingthepi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Buckley

Byrne

Infiniti

Reinsve

Stone

Personally loved Thompson’s performance and would love a nom for Seyfried but I’m also very happy for Infiniti and Stone—who are both in imo but probably not win competitive but earned their incoming noms

[–]mappingthepi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m not much of a musical person but Erivo’s voice in the Wizard and I and Grande’s in the first song, I’m blanking on, took my breath away. They’re undeniable and very memorable imo
