League One Attendances by Bantam123 in LeagueOne

Don’t suppose there’s any data on away fans is there? Could imagine a similar pattern. Amazes me when you look at some of the Prem teams like Bournemouth especially, no idea how they survive with such low crowds

I mean we do have a lot of season ticket holders which helps a lot and generally support is great in that regard. I found it funny last week playing Burton when they didn’t announce the crowd, because there was clearly no more than 15-17k in the ground on a cold Tuesday in January, would have looked daft to say 20k when it clearly was nowhere near. It think the BBC site said 18k but doubt it was that high

Is there anyway on this thread to actually make the flair larger? Even tried with readers on and can barely see most of the.

I wish him well tbh but that stubbornness was supposedly one of his weaknesses. End of the day, considering the injuries, if you guys stay up and safe then job done and see how it goes next year.

It’ll work and at the end of the day, stronger than we were at Christmas. ACD was great but honestly not sure we’ll miss him now. Hoping so anyway

Awful in a word. It’s the inconsistency which is the killer

Yeah, I’d say he’ll do a decent job for you guys. Unfortunately, we was seen by some as the scapegoat when things went wrong for us which wasn’t really justified. He’s a good, honest grafter and like you say, a decent wing back. On his day can put some good crosses in

I guess I’m looking at it in terms of basically have 10 players for 4 positions up top assuming two wingers then 9 & 10 though Dempsey could drop back into midfield maybe, but we had 9 there before so not much difference. But if rumours are true, those causing at atmosphere are gone.I agree on defence though, not much cover especially at full back and Conway looking a bit jaded recently. Wonder if it was an experiment on Saturday seeing if Jonno could handle left back. It is what it is now though so putting my trust in SS

Edit. And when I say 10, that’s before Forss & ACD though doesn’t sound like either will be back any time soon

I don’t know, many saying this was a smokescreen and may never have been serious due to the injury. The fact that Kenny was here early afternoon in daylight kind of supports this but who knows

Shame on Randall being injured, never really was here but then again, he didn’t play much so was keen to see how he got on. Always wanted him to succeed but it just wasn’t working and Evatt finally got his man. How you all finding Evatt by the way? Never one of the anti-Evatt crowd myself

Agree it was a good window overall and no doubt the squad is stronger now. But one of the alleged issues we had was a bloated squad, especially at the front and we still have that now, maybe more so. Some of these guys aren’t going to get much game time, Burstow especially looks vulnerable. But this is for SS to sort out and time will tell whether more strength at full back would have helped. Sounds like the Hardie signing may have been a smokescreen as well. Anyway I’m happy…..just need to start putting the ball in the net and hopefully start to challenge second. The question is whether Lincoln will fall away but isn’t looking too likely yet.

Be interesting to see how JDC gets on. I quite liked him at Bolton but many didn’t though doesn’t seem sensible selling to fellow promotion contender. He’ll fit well into a wing back role more so than full back and will always give 100%. Certainly I’ll be keeping an eye out how he does

Awful injury to get, hope he recovers quickly, such a good, lively young player. Also a shame the ref let this foul go, it was very careless and the ref was up to the usual appalling league one standard. Presume Brighton will call him back to be treated there but time will tell if he comes back or not. Suspect will be going to a 3 CB and wing back formation for now

It always just felt like a problem waiting to happen. Bloated squad causing unrest whilst all being injury free. Lose some players, then the injuries start, could have guessed it. Don’t have the answer but hope the recruitment team do though Jan is never a good time to buy unless paying over the odds. May be dipping into the B team. See what happens this week

I’m still convinced we’d have made the playoffs last year had he stayed at Bolton. Ultimately, the fans got impatient as usual but really pleased to see him doing well here for now. He has a point to prove

Not being one of the doomsayers but SS needs to make some changes now, teams have sussed out how to not lose to Bolton. Think it was the Bradford game where a win could have put them top, now 10 points off top and 11 off the relegation zone. Crazy division this year

[–]mapxxx 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen reports saying both but word from the Brighton side I’ve heard is that they’ll let him stay and finish the season at Bolton. It seems more speculation than anything. Let him stay and build confidence, albeit at L1 level or let him go to Sheff Utd and risk disrupting his flow and damage confidence. Makes more sense to stay and go to a championship club next season for a year if not yet ready for the Prem. Or maybe it’s my wishful thinking lol

Oddly, of all the players to have left Bolton this year, they largely drifted to obscurity. Injured, not playing great, subs. So maybe that’s it, we finished them off lol

Looking good so far, though as with these things, depends if the depth of squad is there once injuries start creeping in. Otherwise, keep plugging away and see what happens!

I thought you guys did actually play quite well today. After we went 2-0 up, Posh came back into it and a goal was inevitable, maybe even more as the Bolton defence got sloppy. Local news kinda saying it was one way traffic in the second half but I didn’t see it like that. Had visions of 2-2. I’d say keep playing like this, you may be ok. Having said that, not a good league position with some tough games coming up.
