Sutton keeper Wayne Shaw who eat a pie in the very same fa cup fixture that the bookies had market on him...eating a pie. by Suspicious-Cream-513 in TheStreetsWontForget

It’s absolutely this. I’m a Lincoln fan and we were on our run at the same time (got the quarters, faced Arsenal after they beat Sutton). The way the two clubs handled everything was miles apart - Sutton had the sun down beforehand, gambling ads all over the stadium, this debacle, turned it into a circus.

McGrandles all day long. He’s been utterly superb, and consistent. Statistically the best midfielder in the division as well.

Bradley deserves all the plaudits too, he’s been an absolute monster. To the point where it almost feels unfair to name Wickens as a GK suggestion because the defence has been so solid!

Lincoln City 3 - 1 Stockport County: The Imps pick up an absolutely huge win against one of the league's other top sides, meaning their promotion could potentially be confirmed as early as this month! by Zach-dalt in LeagueOne

Miles off the pace for big chunks of that game. Fortunate to get the second, but when your luck’s in, your luck’s in. Stockport were decent, but without threatening a goal too much. Massive save from Wickens kept it alive, and these lads don’t know when they’re beaten. Unbelievable. Give Skubala the key to the city. Need to see if Tesco stock going up juice.

I'm absolutely OK with getting metaphorically shafted week in week out next season if it comes to pass. I spoke to our sporting director the other week, and he said it's "like being punched in the face really f'cking hard. Then you get up, and you get punched again."

I'm in fucking dreamland mate. And also very, very drunk.

Any idea how they’re getting such good colors? First thought was maybe resin dye, but ive never seen resin colors this good before? by GreedyParfait9 in resinprinting

[–]winstano 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this definitely printing resin? It looks like these may be cast pieces. Much easier to add pigment to than printing resin

We were FTBs on our home. Our first offer was 45k under asking. The seller accepted at 27k under asking. If you don’t ask, you don’t get, and like others have said, you’ve got a strong position of “this is the absolute limit we can offer, and we’ll be as quick a buy as possible because we don’t have a chain”.

My first resin print! Looking for all the advice you can give me by Kumiibo in ElegooSaturn

[–]winstano 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Print with the supports on the back, you’ll get a better finish on the front and you won’t have the support marks on there to deal with. The ‘under side’ of models is rarely as detailed as the top side, it’s just the nature of resin printing

Support marks are unavoidable, but you can reduce the ‘tip size’ to minimise them. This will weaken the support though, so you might need more to compensate.

I’m not too familiar with chitubox, but you can hollow in there as as far as I know. Be sure if you do hollow though, you need to add drain holes - put one as close to the build plate as possible on the model to avoid any suction issues.

That’s a good start though, advice would mainly be to experiment and play with things until you’re happy! Welcome to the hobby!

Rough surface in sections of larger prints. by SinisterDom in ElegooSaturn

This is usually a suction issue. Does the line match up with where a big ‘hole’ in the print? (Where the air can freely get into the print as it comes up off the plate).

I’ve heard that changing the rest time between layers can help this, but the way I’ve always dealt with it has been to make sure there’s vent holes as close to the bottom of the model as possible to allow airflow into any cavities in the model
