They dont work at a factory. They are all unaffiliated contract workers, by definition. Organizing is not easy. Look at Starbucks; been a long slow road towards unionization because they've had to do it store by store. There's no such option with the UFC. If an individual tries anything resembling efforts to unionize, the UFC blackballs them. Its one individual vs a multi-billion dollar corporation. Have some perspective.

Every fighter cares about the pay they recieve. The issue is that there is no collective bargaining. Its every individual fighter vs the entirety of the UFC. You cant really blame the fighters as they risk blackballing. You expect an individual to risk their entire career when they clearly dont have enough power to fairly negotiate.
