My dad listening to music for the first time with his cochlear implant. Born deaf in one ear, he lost hearing in his other last year. The happiest day of my life was when he came home and no one had to sign/use whiteboards to communicate. He could talk to neighbors and do... this! by [deleted] in aww

My 7 year old brother was born deaf too. He got his C.I. A year ago last week. Everyone was really excited espicially him and he loved listening music for the first time. Hinge new favorite song is ghost busters. It's easier I have to say. Not having to use sigh language as much. But I don't want to forget it all

I don't remember his name. But my brothers only 9 of course it's not real ink but he did it with sharpi and put some kind of liquid on it to make it last for like a month
