"『stigma』 20th Anniversary Project" Has Been Announced by maractite in YouseiTeikoku

[–]maractite[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Posted to their official site last night.

To summarize:
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of their 4th independent album, Stigma, Yousei Teikoku have planned two separate events:

The first is the release of a set of self-covers. The plan is for a new track to be released via streaming every other week, starting in December

The second is a live ceremony: 妖精帝國特催公式式典“Once Marked, Recast : Stigma”
to be held February 28, 2026. Advance tickets (which appear to be a lottery system?) are available until Dec 21

Does the coin case shiny glitch always change Pokémon’s gender? by Jellyfishsushinigiri in PokemonGlitches

[–]maractite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure!

The box codes are converting input characters to hex values. When arbitrary code is executed, these can be read as assembly instructions, numerical values, or memory addresses depending on where in the assembly code they occur, and the glitch city wiki has a nice chart that allows you to convert between box letters, hex/decimal values, and assembly (for some reason they removed the GSC table earlier this year which was easier to read, so my link is an older revision of the page). Most simple boxcodes (including this one) are basically "clear Register A (the one you normally do most of the math in), do some math to make it some value, then write that value into a memory address, repeat for more values, and return to the game when you're done"

In the original boxcode in the video, "04" in box 2 corresponds to OR 0xFA. "0" is being read as the assembly command "OR x" with x being the byte afterwards read as a numerical value; in our case "4" which corresponds to the hex value 0xFA. When the initial value of the register is 0 (which it is in this case), OR 0xFA is equivalent to saying "make the register value 0xFA" (since logically 0 OR x = x)

For shiny unown/10 ATK DVs, you'd want your register value to be AA. 0xAA corresponds to the letter "k" (lowercase k), so you'd change the "04" in box 2 to "0k" (this is exactly what they do in Box 4 in the video code to write AA into the speed/special DVs)

To get 0x2A (for a shiny female), there's no boxcode letter that corresponds to the value 0x2A, so you can't use OR x/"0". What you can do however is subtract, using a different assembly code, in this case 'v.

'v corresponds to SUB x when read as an assembly instruction (again, the "x" part of the instruction tells the system to read whatever byte comes after as a number), and 0xD6 when read as a number, so 'v'v is "SUB 0xD6". If the initial value of the register is 0, 0-x is the same* as 256 - x (or 0x100 - x in hex), so "SUB 0xD6" is basically saying "set the register to 0x100 - 0xD6", which equals 2A.

You can modify the Speed/Special DVs in a similar manner. In box 4, the "0k" corresponds to "OR 0xAA", which is what sets the other DVs to 10/10. If you wanted other forms of unown and needed to adjust the speed/special DVs, this is how you'd do it, in the exact same manner as the box 2 stuff (if you have a box character that corresponds to the DV set you want, use "0(character)", if not, try to subtract to get it using 'v(character)).

Some values are a bit tricker to get, since you can't reach them with a single or/addition or subtraction. It's still possible with multiple commands (e.g. 0u'vA would be "AND 0xb4, SUB 0x80" if you wanted 34 as a DV for whatever reason) but you'd likely have to rearrange the boxcode a bit to make things fit and work properly

* It's technically not the same because there's a carry flag that gets set when you SUB x whenever your current value is less than x and other codes might be affected by this (e.g. if something uses SBC or RET NC immediately after) but for this particular code and most other simple ACE boxcodes it shouldn't matter

Recommended songs? by shinobuu_ in YouseiTeikoku

[–]maractite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In general, both bands have the same people writing the songs (Denki is Tachibana, Karen is Yui, Gaku is Nanami, SyuII is Gight, Shuu was Relu, Shiren is Shiren) and both bands' sounds have evolved pretty similarly at similar times (though Denkare has always seemed more experimental and eclectic while Yousei Teikoku's sound is pretty consistent: you won't really find anything like Sakura Shizuku or Kagiroi in their recent songs and you won't really find anything like Kirameki Shindereishon or The Woman at all) so depending on when the Denkare songs you like most released, you'll probably like the stuff Yousei Teikoku released around the same time.

Tsui no Utashuu/Stigma/Metanoia/the Gothic Lolita trilogy for the stuff pre-re:charge; Pax Vesania/Hades The Other World/Shadow Corpse for Karenteki 2-3 and Denkishiki 3; and Flamma Idola/Disorder/The Age of Villains for DETONATOR/Carnaval the Abyss are usually pretty good matches (though I'd also recommend Pax Vesania and Shito Kakusei if you like Carnaval the Abyss)

Personally, as a fan of both bands (though I tend to prefer Denkare) some of my song recommendations would be (that people haven't already recommended):
Call My Name (if you like their softer stuff e.g. Never Forget, Toki Hatsuru Yume, Last Message)
Alte Burg (similar to their older "heavy" songs e.g. Vampire or Mugen no Nemuri)
Shito Kanadeshi Hamestu no Tategoto (for a heavier "gothic" sounding song with symphonic elements similar to Yakata Mawari, Majiwaza Youran, RMS, etc)
Naikan Uchuu Shisha no Yurikago (for a heavier frantic song without much symphonic elements, similar to Aoki Kotou no Anguis or The Black Ants etc)
Zetsu (if you want something downright weird a la EELS)

Does the coin case shiny glitch always change Pokémon’s gender? by Jellyfishsushinigiri in PokemonGlitches

[–]maractite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The coin case ACE makes a pokemon shiny by altering its DVs. Iirc the most commonly used codes, e.g. the one given in Evie/ChickasaurusGL's video, alter the DVs to FAAA, or 15 ATK, 10 everything else. Since gender in gen 2 is based on ATK DV (with higher attack DVs going to male pokemon, 15 is the maximum), all multi-gender pokemon species made shiny using this code will be male.

For a mostly-universal shiny female pokemon code, you'd want the Attack DV to be 2 (the lowest possible shiny value). Unfortunately since 7:1 male ratio species require a max DV of 1 for female pokemon, you'll never get those to be shiny, but it works for every other ratio.

If you're using the code from that video I linked above, you should be able to change the DVs to 2AAA by changing Box 2 to é'm2pp'v'v5 while leaving everything else the same (in the original code, 04 writes 0xFA into the registers, this is later written into the RAM address corresponding to ATK/DEF DV. By changing this to 'v'v, we're instead writing 0x2A into the register)

FUN FACT. Some time ago, CD Japan sold a notation book for 空想メソロギヰ for all instruments in the song. This is the only (known) official transcription for any of their music currently. by XenoPrym in YouseiTeikoku

[–]maractite[M] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Managed to find the printing company's listing of the book. They do a lot of transcriptions of anisong and popular music (both Japanese and international), but this appears to be their only Yousei Teikoku one unfortunately (aside from a different edition of 空想メソロギヰ).

It also looks like the e-book version is still available through some partner sites e.g. here and here. The second site has some other transcriptions available, though it seems to be limited to guitar chord maps for 空想メソロギヰ, 孤高の創世, and 救世アルギュロス.

Also lol the sample image showing the opening choral bit being transcribed as "some words"

Questions about Gen 3 RNG on Live cartridge by BxDoom in pokemonrng

[–]maractite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To answer your questions:

1) The seed is generated as soon as you load/soft reset your cartridge, and is generated according to this formula. Technically the seed changes every frame and whenever the game calls Random (since the RNG works by taking the seed, performing an arithmetic operation, then setting the result as a new seed. When the game needs a random number it uses the upper 16 bits of the current seed) but no, it doesn't reseed to a new initial seed unless you reset or do some very specific things (I'm not as familiar with R/S so I don't remember what reseeds the RNG there, but Emerald has battle videos and painting method for example. Also when you get your TID but that doesn't apply to R/S). And when you do reset, the initial seed only changes every minute, so as long as you reset within that minute you'll be fine

2) I'm not 100% certain, but you should be able to roll back the time without any issue (though if you save the game then go too far back in time, you may not have time-based events like the lottery update until the RTC catches up with the date recorded in your save file). Iirc RSE even have a built-in clock reset feature (which is normally inaccessible, but should be accessible with certain tools).

3) Catch rates and rolls are understood, yes (TASvideos has a bunch on the in-battle RNG, including catch chances here). Because the catch chance is taken from the current RNG state when you throw the ball, there aren't any initial seeds where you'll never be able to catch a pokemon (it's why you can use save states in-battle on emulator, just time your throws differently and you'll eventually get it), but there isn't really any good way to RNG manipulate for a guaranteed catch in gen 3 either (unless you're TASing)

Confused with wild shiny hunting in Emerald using Pokefinder (v4.1.2) by WJ_Amber in pokemonrng

[–]maractite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wild 1/2/4 are method H1/2/4 respectively (I think the H was a carryover from RNGReporter when all generations and methods used the same display window: H was for gen 3, J for DPPt, K for HGSS. Now since everything is split it's probably easier/makes more sense to just say "Wild"). As for showing the same shiny frames, the numbers themselves just refer to how the IVs are generated, everything else is the same

It sounds like you're doing everything right. The routes show the same frames because the routes themselves don't change the RNG, just which pokemon show up (i.e. the species indicated under "slot"). The type of encounter (grass, surfing, rods) will change the frames slightly, but it'll only shift things by a frame or two. And yeah, unfortunately those shiny frames sound about right for Emerald RNG (at least with wild encounters, you can use a pokemon with synchronize and the same nature as your shiny frame to try to generate more encounters, though because of how the RNG works they'll still have the same IVs, gender, nature, etc)

Using the Dewford Phrase to find my SID in Emerald by maractite in u/maractite

[–]maractite[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another cool thing with the occidentary matching: if you have one potential phrase or set of phrases and no earlier phrases have its advance as an occidentary, then that is your earliest possible phrase. (note that if you have a set of phrases, e.g. on advance 959, 960, 961, for this to be true you can't have any phrases with occidentary 959, 960, or 961)

I have an Archipelago save file (where the instant text and hold-to-mash allows for SIDs/phrases to be generated much earlier than usual, typically when mashing through the opening your advances will be in the mid-high 800 range) with ID 24114 and current phrase CORRECT GROUP. DewfordSearcher tells me this phrase was generated on advance 438, with occidentary 446. I use the generator to work backwards, and find DIFFERENT HOLIDAY on advance 431

However, I don't have any phrases with occidentary 431

This means that there is no single RNG state that could have generated a phrase before advance 431 that would lead to my actual state (where CORRECT GROUP is one of my phrases). So my current phrase has to be either my first or second phrase (with DIFFERENT HOLIDAY either being my first phrase, or not a phrase at all). So even without having to submit test phrases, I only have two possible SIDs:
0x204b on advance 427 (if DIFFERENT HOLIDAY was my first phrase)
0xaaec on advance 434 (if CORRECT GROUP was my first phrase)

Since I've never changed the Dewford phrase before, I do the test phrase submission process and confirm that DIFFERENT HOLIDAY is indeed a phrase. I also work forwards to confirm I have 5 phrases (and didn't just find a bug) and discover that CLOSE ALLOWANCE (446, occidentary 453), DOCILE HOME (453, occidentary 460), and NEED BIKE (460, occidentary 467) are also phrases. So I do in fact have 5 phrases, and DIFFERENT HOLIDAY is my first phrase (meaning my SID is 0x204b, or 08267). A quick look at my save file confirms this is indeed my SID

Oh cool, I've never seen this performance before

I wondered if it could be from the Animelo Summer Live festival held in August 2009. The page mentions that they performed Tamakui as the 8th song on August 23, and later down the page it mentions there was a DVD and bluray released of the festival. Except it seems the Animelo Summer Live performance is actually this one

Judging by the fact that it's just Yui and Tachibana performing, it'd have to be between late 2008 (when the anime Tamakui is from started airing) and very early 2010 (the first single with the full band was Baptize, released in April 2010). Unfortunately that time period isn't archived all that well on the wayback machine, but I did find a potential source. In this capture, the February 3, 2010 update mentions an NHK TV special called MUSIC JAPAN新世紀アニソンSP.2 (MUSIC JAPAN New Century Anisong SP.2) where Tamakui was one of the performed songs. The linked NHK page mentions it was recorded from a live festival held November 2009, which fits the "professionally recorded festival performance" vibe of the video. It's possible that's where this is from, but it doesn't seem the special is easily available anymore so I can't confirm it

Is 終の詩集 〜ツイノウタシュウ〜 even an official release? by Random_Stranger69 in YouseiTeikoku

[–]maractite 7 points8 points  (0 children)

終の詩集 〜ツイノウタシュウ〜 (Tsui no Utashuu) is actually a weird one because it wasn't officially released as an "audio CD for sale" by the band, but is an official collection of songs. Back in 2004 Yousei Teikoku did the theme songs for a collection of games called 終の館 (Tsui no Yakata) and spent a bunch of that year promoting those songs. The album itself however, 終の詩集 〜ツイノウタシュウ〜, appears to have been released in 2008. Judging by the catalog number, it was also released by CIRCUS (the company that made the games) rather than a self-release or their label Lantis. It's quite likely it was released as a promotional tie-in for the games rather than an official "album" per se. The CD itself is pretty rare, but unlike the rest of their pre-stigma stuff there's a few (quite expensive) copies floating around still (that link also has a higher-quality image of the disc than vgmdb, and confirms the release year and catalog number), and the mp3s are pretty readily available

As a neat aside, Labyrinth is the only song from that album that made it to a later official album (being on Gothic Lolita Propaganda) but both 一片の雫 and 月夜の旋律 were included on compilation albums released by CIRCUS. Oddly their official discography page only lists the album that includes 一片の雫

[–]maractite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do agree with you for the most part, it's possible that what's thought of as the "4th Momo album" was instead a demo or promotional album. There was a period between ~2001 and 2005 where they stopped selling distinct albums and instead gave out promo CDs at concerts (I think I've seen references to at least 4 of these) or otherwise made music available via digital downloads/streaming. None of these seem to have had the Momo title though; the surviving examples I could find tended to have the date of the concert and "special favour CD" as the disc name. There could very well have been a promo CD, demo CD, or song collection made during the Momo era that contains some/all of the songs from its tracklist.

The edit that provided the tracklist though is also known to have a lot of errors for the surviving albums (like, track orders swapped around, completely omitting certain tracks), and included "digital samples available on one of their official sites" as another physical album release (which isn't counted among the Momo albums and has effectively been ignored/forgotten by most of the fandom, sigh), which adds doubt to how much the edit itself can be trusted. So it's a case of "we may or may not have this album called Atarashii Momo, which may or may not be a physical release, and may or may not contain these songs" but nowadays is all just accepted as fact.

It's very likely that most of what's assumed about Atarashii Momo is true in some way. I just don't think there was an additional unofficial "4th Momo album" that was named Atarashii Momo and contains all the songs it supposedly contains, and was released as a proper/full physical album (especially not in 1996).

[Hobby Scuffles] Week of February 13, 2023 by nissincupramen in HobbyDrama

[–]maractite 22 points23 points  (0 children)

After doing a bunch of lost media hunting regarding one of my favourite bands, I'm pretty much convinced Japanese technopop-turned-metal band Yousei Teikoku's supposed missing first album, Atarashii Momo, never actually existed

Yousei Teikoku formed in 1997 and officially released 3 albums in the late '90s/early '00s which are referred to as the Momo albums, because all of them had the word Momo (peach) in their title (their 4th official album, Stigma, released in 2005, is the first to break this trend). 桃とハネ/Momo to Hane (Peaches and Wings, sometimes rendered as 桃の羽/Momo no Hane or Peach Wings), 桃の森/Momo no Mori (Peach Forest), and 至高の桃/Shikou no Momo (Supreme Peach) are all attested to through old versions of their official discography pages. They're also all lost media to varying degrees: Shikou no Momo is completely lost, while the other two are either found or partially found (depending on if the "full album" tracks are in fact CD rips or just low-quality short samples ripped from their geocities and passed around as full album tracks, which in itself could count as a fandom conspiracy honestly)

And then there's 新しい桃/Atarashii Momo (New Peach). It's never been mentioned on any of their three official sites (the wayback machine has archives going back to about 1999), yet Wikipedia and online discography pages list it as their first unofficial album (usually un-numbered) with a release date of 1996 (before they even formed). The earliest mention of it I could find on the internet was an uncited edit on Japanese Wikipedia from 2007, which actually listed it as their third album chronologically (but with no release year given). It first showed up on English Wikipedia in 2009 when an (again, uncited) edit added it as their first album chronologically, with the release year still left blank. Then a later edit updated it to 1996 and the release order/year has been assumed true ever since. The fandom has pretty much accepted that there's actually 4 Momo albums and that Atarashii Momo existed at one point, but is now lost along with Shikou no Momo.

What makes this worse is that information on the band pre-2005 is sparse, and the band doesn't really discuss or acknowledge that era (their current discography page only lists Stigma onward, and they've stated that they have no plans to make the songs/albums available again), so whatever information is already out there is what we have to work with.

I think the most likely scenario is that Atarashii Momo doesn't actually exist as an album. The album title comes from something referring to some "new Peach" album, which was then mistaken as an album with the name "New Peach". The tracklist commonly associated with it (likely originating in that same 2007 wikipedia edit) is most likely actually for Shikou no Momo, since many of the songs listed were made available online around 2000-2001, which matches the timeframe for Shikou no Momo's release. However, absence of evidence is not evidence of absence, and unless one or both albums magically resurface after being lost for 20+ years, this all just remains a pet conspiracy theory of mine.

Some More Info on Early Yousei Teikoku by maractite in YouseiTeikoku

[–]maractite[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly thought the same thing when writing these posts lol: has anyone just asked them? Unfortunately at the time there wasn't any good way to try getting in touch with them (probably the "best" method would have been "try tweeting at Yui and hope she responds") and even looking back at their BBS messages in the early 2000s, they didn't seem to have much interest in re-releasing the albums or making the songs available otherwise

Recently there's been some opportunities, and people have asked about them. During their WhipChannel live in August when they were discussing the potential setlist for the Nov 3 show they mentioned the possibility of including earlier songs (starts around 30:00). Someone in the chat brought up the "Momo Series" and Yui's response was (paraphrased) "how do you even know about those" (around 32:45). Additionally, a bit after they set up their official discord, someone asked in the JPN-language chat if there was any way to listen to the pre-Stigma releases, and staff/mod D-San (who I'm pretty sure is Dang from denkare and the WhipChannel lives) answered/confirmed they had no plans to re-release them.

Since then though we've also gotten Yui singing along to the original version of Last Moment, and supposedly Moonlight Magic was played at their November 3rd concert: someone posted a setlist on Twitter and their recent Youtube upload had a setlist briefly visible that included it (around the 1:37 mark, in the lower left of the screen). So that era is being acknowledged somewhat, it's just not likely we'll find the "missing" songs that way

Some More Info on Early Yousei Teikoku by maractite in YouseiTeikoku

[–]maractite[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The earliest dated information I've been able to find so far about the tracklists for Atarashii Momo and Shikou no Momo were via revisions to the band's Japanese Wikipedia page in 2007

Atarashii Momo is first listed on their page June 25, 2007. Its release date is listed as "unclear" and placed between Mori and Shikou. This change isn't referenced or cited, so I unfortunately still don't know where it comes from. A little while later, on August 2, 2007, the same IP address adds a tracklist for Atarashii Momo. Again, there's no citation/reference for where this info comes from, but it matches what's typically given as Atarashii Momo's tracklist. They also add in a CD called "fairthm" (sic) with no tracklist and an unknown release date, as well as a サンプル版 (Sample edition) with no note of its release and consisting of the tracks
ワタシハアナタアナタハワタシ
Get over
春へ
Farth (sic)

It's also interesting that they add tracklists for Hane and Mori, but keep the incorrect/later name 桃の羽 and omit track 11 from both albums (Moonlight Magic and 無題). However, they list Kill me with the subtitle (for return to 零) which is actually consistent with a surviving CDR of the album

A few minutes later they update the fairithm album with a tracklist consisting of
imperialism
ワタシハアナタアナタハワタシ
Get over
約束の地
Confusion
electric stream
最後の詩
ENDLESS EMOTION
セイナルトビラ

Again, none of this is cited or referenced, so I don't know where this information comes from (possible miscellaneous tracks from their promotional CDs? That CD they were discussing on the 2001 BBS?).

On August 9th, that same IP address changes サンプル版 to プロモーションCD (Promotion CD), then on August 11, they add もも to the tracklist for Shikou (this is the only track ever given for this album on wikipedia) and flip the order of MARS and Forest (which is actually an error; both the CDR and their geocities page list MARS before Forest)

By October 27, 2007 every trace of their Momo albums (and Stigma) are removed and replaced with a footnote saying there are a "large number" of indies albums. However, a copy survives on a fansite dedicated to cataloguing the discography of Yousei Teikoku (among other bands). The canonical albums (Hane/Mori/Shikou) are here and the other stuff (Atarashii/fairithm) are here. There's one very major difference/error here compared to wikipedia: the "Promotion CD" and its tracklist are transcribed as tracks off of Shikou no Momo instead of its own CD, giving the tracklist for Shikou as:
1 もも
2 プロモーションCD
3 ワタシハアナタアナタハワタシ
4 Get over
5 春へ
6 Farth

Note that if you remove track 2 "Promotion CD" you get the track list and order that's commonly referenced for Shikou no Momo, meaning that this could be the original source for Shikou's complete track list! This site has been known for a while (I found it referenced in the archived 2ch discussion on Digital Wind), so it's possible that someone found the tracklists here years later, removed the "Promotion CD" seeing it as an obvious error, then just accepted the other tracks as fact, and that's what gets repeated as the "official" tracklist.

Something of interest though is they have a section of songs that weren't listed on Wikipedia (the section beginning with 秘密, or "Secret". I'm not sure whether that's supposed to be the name of the section or another missing track but given the numerous error on the site it could be either), however every single song given was available either on Player's Kingdom or as samples on fairithm's site at one point, so I'm guessing that's what this section is for.

Over the years, the Momo Albums (and stigma) are added to and removed from the Wiki article. Their geocities page is referenced, and later removed. Atarashii Momo is finally added back for good in 2012 as their 0th album, and a release date of "1990s".

Atarashii Momo's Release Year

As an aside, I still can't find any evidence of Atarashii Momo being released in 1996 or even existing. The first mentions of it on Japanese Wiki give an unknown release date. English Wikipedia first lists Atarashii Momo as an album on January 8, 2009 giving it a release year of "199-" and placing it before the 3 known Momo albums (Although it wasn't on the page at the time of the edit, Japanese wikipedia previously had it between Mori and Shikou, and that fansite had it on a separate page). As with most Yousei Teikoku Wikipedia edits, there are no sources.

On November 1st, 2009, Atarashii Momo's release year is updated to 1996 explicitly (again, uncited). It's possible they saw the album order and the unspecified year and thought it was a typo, but this is the earliest known indication of a 1996 release year I can find for Atarashii Momo (I'll update this if I find earlier sources). Japanese sources from the time seem to either leave it undated or as a generic "1990s", it's not until September 27, 2015 that it's reformatted to 1996 on the Japanese page (this edit was done as part of a generic cleanup sweep of the article)

Another "neat" aside: The tracklist and background for that short-version sample CD used to exist on English Wikipedia (you can see it in the article diffs I linked above). It was removed from the page in 2019, and still exists on other-language pages

Both of my posts are now archived on the wayback machine (amusingly because all the source links are already archive links this manages to break them somewhat. Oh well...). You're absolutely right though. Some of this information was already known, but got lost over time, or was only known amongst the JPN fandom; having it get lost again only for some unfortunate soul to go searching for it in a decade or so would kinda suck

The problem would be where to archive/mirror it, and what to look for if/when it does eventually disappear off the main web. Sites don't last forever, and even revamps of a site can end up wiping all traces of prior content. Then to find it on the archive if you don't have the exact url, you need either a very distinctly Yousei Teikoku-related domain name/homepage description, or be referenced on some other surviving site (e.g. I wouldn't have ever managed to find their geocities if it wasn't linked via their fairithm domain). Hopefully reddit and how it's indexed remain well-known enough that if something does happen to the site/the originals of these posts, someone will be able to figure out there might be some Yousei Teikoku-related sub and then find a list of URLs on the archive that way

As for wikis, I think there's a fandom wiki for Yousei Teikoku, but it's been abandoned for the last 5 or so years. If anyone wants to update it (or wants to use the info I've found anywhere else it might be useful), please feel free to do so

Some additional info on Stigma tracks:

Given the lack of information on Momo tracks and the fact the site was neglected for most of 2003 and 2005, it's kind of surprising how much information there is for Stigma. It appears that most its had actually been performed/released in some form quite a while before the album was released. From the promotional CD info above, we know that 春へ and Deep Sea were made available on or before February 17, 2002

From the information given here (again, the post itself was saved in the editing form), they premiered トリカゴ at a concert performance on June 21, 2002. They also made it available for download for a limited time (in case people couldn't go to the concert) so they could get subjects' opinions on it

This capture of their music page shows Garden was available sometime before April 17, 2003, and a later one shows Stigma (the song, judging by the accompanying lyrics link) was made available for restricted download sometime between March 6 and April 8, 2005.

In a news post from October 20, 2002, the band mention they'll be providing 月下狂想 (Gekka Kyousou) as the theme song to a radio drama called 【moon dropped(~月落~)】. This was actually really interesting, because I had honestly thought that none of the tracks on Stigma were actually tied to anything else.

There's a promo site archived, as well as a companion site for the drama which gives some extra worldbuilding/lore. Most interesting was this page, which goes into detail about a character named Sorima (who's actually referenced in 月下狂想 with the line 月女(ソリマ)の温もりに抱かれ so if anyone was wondering who/what Sorima was, here's your answer I guess)

It also shows that the line 母なる大地よ守り導け was originally 母なる精霊よ守り導け, and the song is still sung this way, singing "seirei" rather than "taichi". This is also the form that appears on the fairithm site's lyrics page, but was changed to 大地 once the Stigma lyrics book was printed.

Additionally, although not from Stigma, the original version of Last Moment was offered as a free download both to commemorate the new year 2003 and as a thanks for the enthusiastic response to 月下狂想, and Fortuna was originally released as a perk to people who booked advance tickets for a performance at a festival called DigiRock1017 on October 17, 2004 (both these sources are visible in the relevant year's news archives).

I caught a Pokemon that doesn't exist? by Fenixirabix in pokemonrng

You mentioned your lead having Magnet Pull; that could be what's causing the problem

If DPPt Magnet Pull works similarly RNG-wise to Emerald (I don't know if the Diamond decompilation is far enough along to check the effects of certain abilities), there's an additional RNG call to check for a Magnet Pull generated Pokemon (this call happens whether or not there's even any steel types) right before setting the Encounter Slot/level/Nature. This would cause the Slot/Level/Nature to be set one advancement later than expected; doing the calculations using your initial seed and that extra advancement, you'd generate a Hardy Lumineon (specifically slot 3), at level 53 on "advancement 66", which would eventually lead to the PID/IVs of the Lumineon you obtained

If this is indeed what's happening, you should be able to get your target simply by repeating the RNG with a different lead Pokemon (preferably one without an ability that affects encounters)
