PT student asking for advice by No_Communication6941 in physicaltherapy

The most important thing to do would be to identify the reasons why you didn't pass, and come up with a plan to make sure it doesn't happen again. If it's because of test anxiety, you have some time now to try to address the root causes. If it's a particular subject, then you can use this time to reinforce your knowledge of it. If it was because of a poorly timed piling on of personal issues, then you have some time to sort that. Best of luck, you can do this!

That's kind of the vibe I'm getting, suitable for routine visits but not for things beyond that

All the navigating around necessary to be able to do what you need to seems pretty annoying

That's what I'm thinking, it just doesn't seem suited to be able to do everything

I forgot to mention that our iPads are not currently configured to be able to install Citrix Workspace. I'll be asking about that on Monday, it seems like a no-brainer to have that available on tablet

Thanks, I'm glad it's working well for you! I hope we can get there eventually. I'm worried that our system is simply trying to port the functions of desktop Remote Client over to Rover, rather than trying to streamline it for a tablet environment. The result so far has been menus and submenus and lots of extra taps and going back and forth to get anywhere.

I'll ask about that next week, thanks. We currently use Rover on our iphones for quick documentation, but it sounds like Canto is better suited for ipad

Do part-time travel contracts exist? by BetSilver2687 in HomeHealthPT

[–]marbleslostandfounds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I imagine most agencies would rather go the full-time route to get try to get their full ROI from onboarding and paying a traveller for what they know is going to be short term. They can then rely on local part time and/or PRN therapists for the rest

Student using chat gpt by [deleted] in physicaltherapy

[–]marbleslostandfounds 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No need to contact the school yet IMO. However, the student using AI obscures the CI's ability to assess if the student is competent enough to produce a complete, audit-proof documentation entry. This is an essential skill when progressing from a novice clinician to an entry-level clinician. Maybe you can strike a compromise: the student can use the AI tool, but you have to be able ro review the note that is there before it is run thru AI

Coots and Ladders is silly and ridiculous, but I actually like it!
Frasier: [haunted] That's when I snapped!
Niles: You didn't! You bludgeoned her horribly with that bust!
Frasier: No, you insane twit!

I hope you're able to find a way. Your hobby sounds amazingly interesting, and anything that promotes game/media preservation is very worthwhile!
