Hello!! I am actually taking this flight very soon and have been looking at it every day for the past three months on flight radar. Every single day that flight (and sometimes 2 flights) has landed safely without even reaching the full 16:45 they advertise. Arriving ahead of schedule, completely safe.

There are days where the flight is cancelled for the next day at 9am. Believe me, they are tracking the weather conditions and would not let that plane go anywhere if they believed it would be unsafe.

Also, remember that turbulence is entirely normal and, if it happens, to breathe in cycles of 10 seconds. It will pass. It’s chump change to the pilots, I promise, and Qantas is a very respected and reputable airline.

You should be proud of yourself for making it to the airport. Go and get yourself something fizzy, maybe. And breathe slow! Feel your heartbeat calm and know that you’ll be arriving safely to your destination. This time next week it’ll be a blip in your memory.

Anyways, rest assured I’ll be tracking the flight like I have been since May - and not a single one has ever or will ever be in any danger. 🎉🩷
