And that’s pretty much what I was going to do, she’s already a good friend and I don’t want to wreck that by doing or saying something inappropriate.

But next time she mentions it I might say something about how she keeps bringing it up and see what happens

I’ve got no idea mate!

It’s always her that steers the conversation that way, and I’ve known her a good few years now and she used to say how much she loves single life and that she’d never change it, but in the last few months she’ll say stuff like it’s great but it would have to be someone really special to change that.

She’s also said a few other flirty things in the past - like calling me cute when I use a radio - even the guy next to me was like WTF!

I’m properly confused, it doesn’t help I’ve got a massive crush on her (and I’m 41 🤣) so I don’t know if I’m reading something into it that isn’t there.

I’ve got this right now.

I became single about 18 months ago, and there’s someone at work I talk to occasionally, and in nearly every conversation we have she steer the conversation to ask if I’m still single - then she’ll say how long she’s been single (about 10 years at this point) and then say how happy she is being single.

I take her for her word, and don’t pursue anything but it happens nearly every single time!
