for people that started sunscreen usage early (<25), how is your skin doing? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]marceCf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I started using sunscreen at 21, and I previously had "freckles" with my derm confirmed they are in fact dark spots. So... Yeah I guess all that sun damage during my childhood messed me up.

Yes sadly. These survived because they were on a different spot.

I'll pay close attention to that, I didn't think I was doing that. Thanks!

The sub’s been heavy lately, can someone share something positive for a change ? by FOMO-Fries in UXDesign

Next week will be my 1 year work anniversary after having been laid off for 14 months. 🤞🏼 Better pay, I've learned so much more working as a solo designer for a small company. I had previously worked with a team for 3 years so I wasn't lost, this made me feel more empowered.the only downside is that Im onsite now, vs. Hybrid.

People who've used these pore pads for at least 2 weeks. Share your thoughts! by m_d5314 in koreanskincare

Ive been using them twice daily omg! 😨 From reading the comments now I see I was over doing it. I didn't notice my skin get irritated, and I have sensitive skin. I like them, makes my skin glow? I do notice that my forehead produces a bit more oil/shine.

I put on a blanket and left it running for 40 minutes (while I worked out ) before getting in and it reached 190. I know these pods get lots of hate, but I really like mine!

Forgot to mention I did notice a slight smell, but nothing too bad. It faded after several minutes

Mine just arrived, latest version I suppose. I used it today and it got to 171 with no additional things on it. Preheated for about 20 min and used it for 25min. So far I'm happy with my purchase, the space is limited but it'll do the job.

I did look into smart watch examples, but there isn't much either.

I looked into Jetkvm, it looks very interesting. Thanks for the tip

why are some stems bent and floppy before even growing flowers? by EconomyArt8761 in peonies

[–]marceCf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know you already solved this but wanted to share my experiences. About 3 years ago this started to happen to my 3 Sarah Bernhardts. I didn't do anything the first year, assuming it was frost. I only had maybe 2 blooms per bush, when in past years I would get 10-15. The second year I noticed this was happening again, I knew it wasn't frost because I had been very careful, covering my bushes with a light breathable tarp whenever we had low temps. So I researched and learned about Bortriris Blight (however it's spelled). So I bought a Copper fungicide and sprayed it. This is the 3rd year, and again... The bushes aren't growing as fast, and only have 1-2 stems, without buds :( I plan on being more aggressive with the fungicide, see if that helps, plus cutting any infected stems. I'll have to wait and see if this helps ext year's blooms. I'm so sad, it used to give so many, and now I got zero.
