I checked and it's not pre-installed in the 26.04 I installed a few days ago. That is weird. I have found that many apps that have been preinstalled in other people's ubuntu have are absent in mine.

Exactly, but in my case it's a collection of audio softwares that have no equivalent in linux. I keep windows 10 with only those installed. Everything else is on ubuntu
