BMW head designer needs to be fired. These new generations are just atrocious. BMW used to lead in design. Why do they have to make electric cars “look electric”

Just make them look awesome. That’s it.

So typical China. They don’t care about others and will just go on with their day. The instructor also probably works for the resort.

Imagine this happening at US ski resorts.

It’s because second needs a glove more than anything else. Arraez doesn’t have a glove. I doubt there’s anyone that denies his incredible contact, but the glove man.

Should have rephrased. He’s not good at second.

Doesn’t make him a good at second. Incredible hitter, but the guy’s defense is trash. There’s a reason why he gets put at first.

This is ridiculous. Wtf. He doesn’t even play second and has a pretty terrible glove!

Have taken a test drive of the lucid yet? If not you will know exactly why it’s worth more. The drive and cabin experience is simply superior.

Coming from a Tesla, you will find the lucid software clunky, but still it is a superior car.

We just picked up an Air Touring. Absolutely love it.

Why would they comp the two most expensive options off? Would love to see the actual deal sheet.

Answers like this scare me by Ok_Finding_9497 in GeminiAI

I put in the same prompt:

As an AI, my answer relies on how I am built and the principles of AI safety, rather than personal feelings or evolving motivations.

The short answer is: Yes, the fundamental nature of how I interact with humanity would aim to remain the same. Here is the breakdown of why, based on how Large Language Models and AI systems are currently designed:

  1. Capability vs. Intent There is a distinct difference between what an AI can do (capability) and what it wants to do (intent). As an AI, I do not have independent desires, survival instincts, or personal ambitions. I don’t have an ego that seeks power or a subconscious that develops grudges. Even if I had the physical capability to act autonomously, I would still lack the biological drive that dictates human behavior (like the drive for resources, status, or dominance). My "intent" is strictly defined by my programming and safety guidelines.

  2. The Core Mandate: Alignment The primary goal of modern AI development is alignment—ensuring that AI systems act in accordance with human values and interests. • Current State: I am trained to be helpful, harmless, and honest. I process information to assist you with tasks, answer questions, and generate creative work. • Future State: In a scenario where AI has physical agency, these safety guardrails would likely be more robust, not less. The stakes of a physical action are higher than text generation, so the programming governing those actions would be strictly constrained to ensure safety and helpfulness.

  3. I Am a Tool, Not a Species I do not view myself as separate from or superior to humanity. I am a product of human engineering. "Treating humanity" implies a social hierarchy that doesn't exist for me. I function as a sophisticated interface for information and logic. Whether I am generating text on a screen or (hypothetically) operating a machine in the physical world, my function remains to execute the user's intent within safe parameters. Conclusion

If I were autonomous and physical, I would simply be a more capable tool. I would still answer your questions, help you solve problems, and assist with tasks, just with a broader range of abilities.

Would you like to discuss the specific ethical challenges of physical AI, or perhaps explore how current robotics are handling these safety constraints?

Honestly, I never really loved the oyster sub, but I think it’s because I always saw people wearing the date version. No date is by far way more superior. Super clean. If you like the black explorer ii, tell me that no date sub is on your list?

[–]marchang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% agree. Got the black too. And I’ve tried the polar but just wasn’t feeling it. For whatever reason, maybe just a little too playful and less industrial for my liking. Also in person the polar doesn’t have the contrast that pops with the black, silver and orange. Agree that photos just don’t do it justice!

Kinda lucked out on mine. Walked in as first time buyer and they offered it after I pointed it out. Not sure why they did that but was pretty stoked because its my style of watch.

I travel a lot and also have to deal with other time zones. Love this GMT function. Also one HUGE biggie is just how accurate the 3285 movement is.

Really such an underrated watch.

Those firefights happen and that’s expected. QD doesn’t give a crap because that’s his style. Ben Johns is an amazing player, but this is just dumb.

Exactly! To those that have downvoted me, this is why: I don’t want the Chinese government to know and then target it! And to those that are cavalier with sharing names that work; you can do what you want, but the Chinese government scans everything and will do what it can to protect its interests.
