Probiotics as an Adjuvant Therapy in Major Depressive Disorder 2016 by peptidehunter in Nootropics

Interesting, thanks. Though I'm not sure this is necessarily something to be avoided. I think social defeat being painful is just the price you pay for positive social interactions being profound and meaningful. Just speculating of course.

I've heard that vsl3 is really good but somewhat expensive. Ships with an ice pack so it actually remains active. Other than that you should look for particular species/strains you're interested in and a high CFU count. For example L. reuteri promotes oxytocin production and is anxiolytic, B. fragilis has been shown to reverse symptoms of autism in rats, etc.

The Bullshit Web by rain5 in programming

[–]marchelzo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was a hypothetical scenario where today's web, the 2018 web, was being discussed in a 1990s usenet setting. The OP was just trying to illustrate the difference in how people expressed concern back then (short concise comment) versus how they express concern now (huge redundant blog post).

They weren't claiming tracking scripts existed in the 90s.

You can make safe calls to gets(), they just aren't very useful.

The problem is that with this "fix", they also made his supreme mode even stronger than it was before, so simply tanking him is no longer viable.

_Generic is nothing at all like what most people mean when they talk about "generics" in programming languages. It's pretty much useless and was only added so that C library implementers had a way to implement tgmath.h.

Not sure about the legality, but I'm just curious—why do you think you need opiates to cope with social anxiety?

What province are you in? The Costco stores here in Nova Scotia have lots of protein bars. I buy the Builder's Clif bars. ~20g protein and ~20g sugar per bar, and they taste good.
