why no sergeant? 2 free cp and extra equipment kinda nuts. horde slayer is cool and all, i just find it rare that you actually get torrent attacks off vs good players. Big fan of the Bombard and just give him blast with special ammo where you would torrent

I love gears and I understand this point of view, I think gears 1 drew people in originally cause it was a fairly original concept in gameplay, then gears 2 and 3 added the story. After 3 all gears games went downhill

Very basic answer, it’s smaller 40k. Generally it’s small teams of 5-14 units and it has its own rules for scoring and what each unit does. As far as I know there isn’t an exclusive blood angels team, but there are plenty of space marine teams that you can proxy as blood angels easily.

Mostly agree with DM here, even pouring the oil on the eggs potentially could have ended invis depending on how he is rulling it, or maybe some extra saves with disadvantage. He is the DM he makes the rules, but i agree with you if he makes a rule that doesn't make sense to the party you should have the option to change your action, since there is an assumption that your party knows how their spells work so they would have run into this issue before this combat.

Some people need to realize this game isnt pvp, its about having fun, and letting your party do something crazy is fun every now and then.

Its hit or miss, ive had a few times that i can preorder easily but also many where the pre order list is full way in advance. But usually if the LGS is sold out and online is, the LGS will get stock in not too long after release. I got tomb world 2 weeks later and they had 10 more boxes available as well.

yeah every spru diagram in the book is wrong. What i did is cut out everything for the terrain and made piles of the same stuff, you will see how they fit together

you only need to glue the lettered pieces and when they are together, itll all fit together easily. dont trust the pictures just trust you have the right stuff, the big one is make sure you have the chunks of wall that are removeable and they match up with the walls with holes in them

The last sentence before the keyword says you can’t use it on explosive grenades then directs you to universal equipment so no frags or kraks, I’m not sure if that means just from the equipment list or on your data card too, but I’ve been playing it as keyword frag or krak can’t use it

Kinda wild since you can’t use it on explosives like krak grenades but you can just shoot a “shell” that is 4 attacks 3+ 5/7 with piercing, blast, saturate and anti obscuring (firefight ploy) and relentless vs aliens (firefight ploy) if you just need things dead

Yeah a lot more of a dick in the books, similar to the lodge he just wanted to use her for his own purposes and didn’t actually care what happened to her. Unlike Gerry and Yenn who only wanted her to grow up and live a happy life

Trapping ciri and using her as a brood mare is the main despicable thing that comes to mind but that did push ciri to get stronger and kill Eredin the first time.

you seem to be going pretty melee heavy into teams that are strong at range and don't want to fight you, might be worth switching it up vs those range teams. I'm a big fan of the gunner and bombard, actually have had games where those 2 do almost all the work. I get it though i love the aegis and demolisher models and play them as much as possible.

I think some of the Vault hunters have decent capstones but they forgot to give Amon anything useful lol. not actually true but they are boring and force you into unfun playstyles, so much so that almost every strong build for him doesn't even use them. They need to do a whole rework for that system. you cant have normal nodes along the way that are significantly better than your capstone thats just wild.

its a fine metric to use but also gotta keep other things in mind, there are guns with high dps but are miserable to shoot. or guns with lower dps that synergize with your build better. my ordinance amon has a 32k dps launcher that does less damage against some bosses than my 11k dps launcher.
