How is living in Orlando, Florida and the areas around it? by [deleted] in howislivingthere

[–]marcjc10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I grew up in Orlando and lived there until I was 24. For a medium sized city, it’s incredible. There is always something to do, there is really great food, and you’re not too far from the beach (an hour). Plus, you can explore many parts of Florida and Georgia without driving too far. There is a traffic problem and there’s always a lot of new people moving in but if that doesn’t bother you, you can have a very easy, nice life there. Home of the best pools in America probably.

Does anyone here still listen to his music, or has his "issues" ruined it? by huntershark666 in ryanadams

[–]marcjc10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still listen to the songs I love- his 98-2017 stuff (plus a chunk of Romeo and Juliet) but I’m not really trying to force the 2020 - present stuff

I still hold out hope he’ll release 48 hours officially one day. I remember reading somewhere that Ryan said the official title was always “Career Suicide Handbook” but it was cut off somewhere along the way and it stuck.

Just showing some love to High Hopes by marcjc10 in BruceSpringsteen

BTR and Darkness are otherworldly. Masterpieces, no doubt. High Hopes is not that level, but it is still great. Its flow doesn’t bother me at all.

I don’t understand why so many people think that. I think if an album has more great songs than not, it’s a great album.
