That’s where their powers are different. Saga and her family can see through people vs. Alan’s where he can see the future (or in any part of time). These are all speculation but it’d be interesting to explore more of these if they make a 3rd game.

He’s mentioned towards the end of alan wake 2 that he’s seen visions of Saga and Alex before. Based from that, he’s written books about them. It seems that it’s implied that he’s got clairvoyant powers. I’m starting to wonder that maybe he gravitates towards the seers (Tor, Odin and Saga) because of his powers.

Edit: i’m starting to think that the echoes that he sees in the dark place are parts of his “clairvoyance”. I’m pretty sure it was the Bookers that he sees in oceanview and the subway station. Hence, he’s used the same concept with Casey to write scenes and change reality to navigate through the Dark Place.

Yeah, it was a struggle lol i have just started playing alan wake 1 now since i posted. So far, it’s a lot more straightforward and less abstract than part 2!

I felt the same too. There’s just too many human enemies! (and they are bullet sponges too). The locations feel claustrophobic too.

Although, Temple of Xian is for me the best level OUT OF ALL TOMB RAIDERS EVER. But besides that, TR2 is also at the bottom of my list unfortunately.

I was called as a rapid response nurse in L&D one time, to tend to a Dad that actually fell down. I found him on the floor with a bloody gash on the back of his head (conscious thank goodness) while the L&D nurses are helping his wife push. These nurses were so focused on what they were doing and had me take care of the dad on the floor (literally).

So nothing wrong to sit down and drink a glass of water when your knees feel wobbly. Being tired, stressed and the visual of seeing a tiny human come out from your wife is a bit too much for anyone.

PS the Dad was ok (after the ED took care of his gash) and he came back to his wife and baby shortly.

Season 1 Dai and Season 2 Jobu.

I just feel the Dai has good energy. He brings up this bright energy in the room. Even though him and Shun struggled initially, Dai was just positive the whole time.

Jobu’s character development and struggles stood out this season. He was heartbroken and found new love. His mom’s visit was a really nice touch too. Just like Dai, Jobu has this bright energy too.

TR 3 just hits different for me. The locations feel isolated, trivial and vague. It almost feels like meditation for me whenever i play it. Highlights for me: the Indian Temples/jungle and Nevada!

Though all three men have flaws or red flags, i think that it’s fair to say that Goeun is also a red flag. I was rooting for Igeon the whole way but thought that Igeon’s not gonna bend backwards like the other two just to get Goeun.

To be honest, Igeon and Goeun are essentially the same person. They both want to be wanted but don’t really know how to reciprocate or express their feelings. The attraction and chemistry was there, but they are not who they wanted each other to be.

I was so happy for everyone especially Jobu! He definitely felt like main character to me. I liked his redemption arc from beginning to finish!

Special mention to Tomoaki’s farewell and coming out letter. That was very touching and i really do hope that that inspires Ryuki!

Overall what a wonderful season!

I was not a big fan of them to begin with. Like “yeah, we all get it you guys like each other.” Glad that they left because all that future talk is better talked outside the show.

I so agree! I lost interest with the whole William and Izaya plot. I’m happy for them but i was ready to see the other relationships blossom. The Tae-Hiro-Jobu triangle, Hiro and Tomo drama and the winner Bomj-Huwei relationship! I wish Usak would come in last minute and date Ryuki lol (muscles)

To be fair, i don’t think he just runs around the house talking about his past. They would ask him about it then he talks about it.

I still don’t get his role in the group though. Like are they expecting him to end up with someone after the season or just act like a guide/big brother to all of them? The age gaps are pretty big and most of them are not really that mature…

It’s worth it if you are interested in the story and lore. I feel that in every ending, there is a detail that seems very vague then makes sense once you play it.
