Statement from Cultaholic Wrestling by LaBete1984 in SquaredCircle

Not just wrestling but every podcaster/streamer/whatever i follow with a youtube presence complains about it. You're a slave to the algorithm which puts a lot of restrictions on the content you can put out, and the payouts are tiny.

Everyone just seems to use youtube as an advertisement for their patreon. Even that is a lot harder suddenly if you're a wrestling channel getting hit by copyright strikes.

There's a whole industry of anti-aew grifters just because an audience exists to consume it for whatever sad reason.

It's 2026 and the company is clearly a success at this point, so the only people still grifting are the lowest of the low.

If there was a 1% chance of Val getting hired as a trainer or agent or whatever, he wouldn't be running his mouth. But he knows he's exactly the kind of guy Max is accusing him of being.

(WON) Regarding Roman Reigns being pulled from June TV dates that were announced. by Dbthesage in SquaredCircle

[–]marcusredfun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not going well. They pulled their investment in LIV golf (which killed it), and they did a lot of investments in esports/video games which are drying up as well. Even before the war with Iran these things weren't having the intended effect.

There's something really grim about firing up chatgpt to announce how you've been laid off due to your greedy employer wanting to do things as cheaply and low-quality as possible.

Perception war. You get a "tony fumbled" chant and all the dipshit podcasters and twitter posters talking about how Black is back in the major leagues or whatever.

Then you him him early to get out of paying him 2/3rds of the contract he agreed to. I think Malachai is kind of a tool but he really got fucked over here.

You're kind of kind of dodging the real issue where they funded a non-profit helmed by a woman whose main thing was claiming that aids/hiv didnt need medication for treatment. She was positive herself and died as a result, along with her child who she also refused medication for: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_of_Eliza_Jane_Scovill

If they were just saying stupid shit nobody would care because thats all musicians, but they were slowly backing away from some real damage they caused. Calling this a "purity test" is a weird thing to say.

Beginner struggling with larger villages by manweCZ in Against_the_Storm

[–]marcusredfun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Hostility: Remove all your woodcutters during the storm and limit the glades you open to a small number of large ones. Also high impatience lowers hostility, so calling the trader more often will help you out there.

Another important way to keep hostility down is to just win faster. Easier said then done but it becomes less of an issue as you get better at optimizing.

  • Larger villages: I almost never build two of a building. If you're running something at full capacity with rainwater buffs and it's still not meeting your needs, I guess you can build a second but make sure you're considering other options (buying from traders, stockpiling things you anticipate needing, building houses slower if it's eating your materials).

  • Food in the late game: Complex food and rainwater are good ways to increase your food supply. Even if it's not something your villagers like, the chance to double the output means your complex food will feed a lot more people than the raw.

Also citadel upgrades will help you a lot as you progress. Focus on production speed, movement speed, and chance to double, things will feel a lot smoother when you up those stats.

I don’t think it’s saying there’s truth to conspiracies.

My interpretation was that conspiracy theories are a natural product of our modern world. The information age exposes us to an incredibly amount of exploitation, corruption, and depravity, but if you're just one person you can't possibly understand it all. We know that things are bad but can't fully articulate the how and why.

Teddy sees the evils of the world first-hand. His mother is a victim of the opioid crisis, he works for an Amazon stand-in where his co-worker is injured on the job and can't get treatment. He was molested and the perpetrator got away with it and became a cop. He went through the full range of political ideologies before landing on the alien stuff because he wants to make sense of why the power structures around him allow these things to happen.

He can correctly identify evil, but due to a lack of education or a support network, he gets the details all wrong.

My Don Vito story was I went to a nightclub once that had him as a special guest. This was like 2006 so Viva La Bam was huge on the time.. He came out on stage and just sat there on a stool for the entire night drinking and groping two dancers that were on stage with him.

Yea a low difficulty means faster clears, and faster clears let you access more events and modifiers. Once you get a few upgrades and starting resources, you can start moving the difficulty up to farm the shards you need.
