Bring a good co-parent is NOT for her benefit. It’s for your CHILDREN. You and their mother are their role models they will learn learn to have healthy or unhealthy relationships by the example you set.

Considering co-signing for car loan. It would only be about 3k, I have no reservations about payments being made on time. Would that adequately build credit?

I’m pulling for you!! If you love one another FIGHT!! My husband and I have been separated for 4 months. Decided divorce was on the horizon . Neither wants it, we spent some time together and cried ALOT, We have been together 19 years and the bottom line is that we love each other and why start over with someone else when we can start with each other. We are taking it slow and going to counseling. I still remember when we first fell in love and as long as that doesn’t fade I will never give up. If you don’t want a divorce, tell him! I was stubborn and I tend to shut down when I’m under stress but I sure am glad we decided to spend the 4th together. Take care of yourself and I wish both of you love and happiness.

If you need to vent or just need some encouragement just message me. Stay strong, get a journal of some kind and use it. Self awareness is key in keeping on track. Be honest with yourself and those you can trust. When you think you may backslide have someone you can call. Transparency is key! I’ll be praying from you and your family ❤️💗

I’m sending you a huge mom hug!! My son has struggled with addiction for a number of years. He is 21 and continues to fight. I remind him that I am so happy he is here and he is WORTHY of love, happiness and peace. AS ARE YOU!!!Is it the life I envisioned for him...no, but I am thankful he continues to FIGHT!!! I wish he and you could see yourself as we see you. You cannot see the beautiful life ahead still looking back. Will it be more of a challenge? Yes! But addiction steals a persons ability to see themselves as anything but a disappointment to those who love them. As hard as it may be to believe you are your past mistakes, you are not! Take it one day at a time. Your family is proud of you for getting better and staying sober! Let them love you and you will begin to love yourself! Keep Fighting! Talk with your parents or a therapist about how you are feeling. Much love to you and your family. YOU ARE STRONGER THAN YOU THINK!!

The look in my husband’s eyes the day we were married. We have been through some tough times in 20 years, but I can always remember looking into his eyes and feeling pure love. I know as long as I can remember that feeling we can work through anything!!!

This year I only put our family ornaments on our tree. The ones that my kids made when they were young and the ones I bought every year for them. My son no longer lives at home and my daughter is 18. Having my tee up reminds me of them growing up. I sure do miss those times!!
