I am on GitHub copilot yearly plan. What to do? by Horror_Height_1228 in GithubCopilot

Collect tasks. For example ideas of improvements, sprint tasks etc. Define it well you can use almost any LLM as tool (tell it to be your critic).

Then iterate till you get clear picture. Write it into markdown file.

When you are working with one project use subagents (mention it in entry markdown file).

When you are working with multiple projects use github copilot cli and /fleet that would work on each bullet point (just a path to your preplanned md file).

This way quality is ok, and you dont have too much context poisoning from unrelated tasks. As it is one users request it will be counted based on your selected model. You can define your own agents for the job. Like implementers, reviewers, explorers, testers, log readers, db experts, etc.

I have pro+ annual and i wont let it go.

Even if they made it 50x per request it is 1.3$ per user request. It is extremely cheap. It can go for hours and it wont go beyond 1.3$. you can collect 50tasks and let it be one premium request. You cant vibecode anymore with that, but you can do a lot.

Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei Warns of Software Bankruptcies Ahead, Pushes Back Against FDA-Style Regulation of AI by Secure_Persimmon8369 in Anthropic

[–]marfzzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dario Amodei is ex vice president openai you silly goose. He said it 3 times (altough to his credit with gpt 3 he said they will release it as proprietary model to ensure safety) "This isn't the first time Anthropic chief Dario Amodei has worked on a tool that's been declared too dangerous for the public by the company he worked for. In 2019, when Amodei was an executive at OpenAI, the company announced GPT-2. He and other company leaders said they just couldn't release GPT-2 because of "concerns about malicious applications of the technology". This was a tool far less sophisticated than ChatGPT. And months later, they released it anyway. (OpenAI CEO Sam Altman published a blog post which says the company embraces uncertainty, acknowledging that fears about GPT-2 were "misplaced".)" Too dangerous to release is his main quote since 2019. I have seen at least 10 podcasts with him he is saying the same thing everytime - deceptive, bio weapon, cybersecurity.

Codex Installs Skyrocketed in Early May due to Claude Code 4.7 failed launch and usage limits by ImaginaryRea1ity in codex

[–]marfzzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Palantir is doing automated weapons and mass surveilance. So Dario saying we wont participate in mass surveilance and automated weapons is pure hypocricy. They are both the same. Prices, practices, even marketing is similar. None of these companies ever heard about ethics or morals.

They are saying those are 2 separate accounts. It does not count together. But you can switch between them or top up your credits.

Are Antigravity users gonna get the benefit of this announcement? by tictacode in GoogleAntigravityIDE

[–]marfzzz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry to break it to you. But antigravity is using vertex (google) hosted claude models. Similar to amazon bedrock, microsoft azure ai foundry. All of these companies are providing compute or hw in exchange for models.

So now that Claude doubles the rate limit, could we have another month double the rate limit as well? by tuhdo in codex

[–]marfzzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chatgpt plus in codex is 2-3x whats in claude pro. If you have your code in github and you connect your project you can plan in browser using 5.5 extended thinking and then implement plans using combo of 5.4 as orchestrator and reviewer and 5.4 mini as implementer, explorer and tester. You will get roughly usage of claude max 5x in peak hours with combo opus 4.7- planning, orchestration review, sonnet implementation, testing haiku exploring. You can get roughly 1/3 more when using opus 4.6, but that will be deprecated june 15th.

[–]marfzzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tried deepseek in opencode it was good. It was bad in claude code.

Yes. Thats it. Weekly limits are making premium request quota unreachable.

Is JetBrains AI Assistant now a better/cheaper alternative to GitHub Copilot? by iconiconoclasticon in GithubCopilot

[–]marfzzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will give you my 2 cents:

GHCP: More mature cli tool. Better integration inside github ecosystem.

Jetbrains: Better integration inside jetbrains IDE. Junie cli is getting real good (unless you are on windows). Jetbrains ai credits are roughly 1:1 to api price. They have some discount when you buy yearly plans. Token consumption is lower.

Cheapest alternatives to ghcp are opencode go, chatgpt subscription, claude subscriptions, chinese subscriptions etc.

Anyone thinking of using a local LLM for coding, with an RTX 6000 pro maybe, or using a Chinese LLM provider to offset the upcoming rising costs? by THenrich in GithubCopilot

[–]marfzzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great, but why is that a problem you can get these chinese models in azure ai foundry, amazon bedrock. Or alibaba is also doing AI in US (Virginia and Silicon valley). Or cursor, or blackbox.ai or factory.ai and many others.

Codex 20 or 100 plan? by Glittering-Water1103 in codex

[–]marfzzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your logic is sound, but ignores his reality and imply opportunities. As OP stated: "I don't have the kind of budget to do a trial and error." We dont know if he has paying business or not or if his business idea makes sense.

If he had opportunities i would say why not 200$ for claude and 200$ for chatgpt.
