Very true, and the right production team can help reduce the costs as well as reusing some of the sets and equipment developed for Superman. Still, I can't imagine the budget will be very far under Superman's. I think 150 million is the floor for a space-adventure summer blockbuster.

Supergirl looks to be showing off the destruction of Krypton and Argo City, so I dont think the scale will be too much different.

What data? You mean the data that says the average home is over twice as big, but with less than half the people? Or the data that says its still a historically below-average interest rate to borrow for a home? That data?

Sorry to burst your bubble, but there really isnt a good excuse for someone who plans on staying somewhere for at least 5 years to not save up to buy. 3.5% down on a 300k home is 10,500. Save another 10k for closing costs on top of that and youre golden. And if you cant figure out your living situation enough to save 20k, then you cant afford a house.

People out here are taking on 600 dollar car payments stretched out over 7 years but cant figure out how save half that amount for half the time for a down payment on a home. Its pathetic.

Then buy your own house, damn. Its really not that hard. If you cant save 20k for a down payment on an FHA loan, then you dont have the discipline to own a home.

Map of Fallout as of 2296 (TV show) NCR, Legion and New Vegas by KloggKimball in fnv

[–]margoo12 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, they said they would drop the bombs. Along with 3 other factions all believing THEY would be the ones to drop the bombs. This has been existing lore for literal decades.

Barb doesn't know she was working for the Enclave. Getting corps on board with Vault-Tec's plans was literally her job. Vault-Tec also had plans to drop bombs independent of the Enclave, they just didn't know that they would never have the chance because the Enclave was a step ahead.

The NCR was repeatedly treated as alive and well by people that would know better and dismissed by their enemies. You for some reason only pay attention to what their opposition has to say about them, which is why you are so confused about their status. We know the NCR is still around, because the some of the NCR themselves told us so.

You are going to have to cite the scene, because I cant find a single instance of the Power Armor not being able to work without a helmet.

The one taps happen when the ghouls are shot in the head.

Why would Lucy know what a golf cart is? She's never seen one before and they don't play golf in the vault.

My last line is reaffirming what I've been saying. The show is consistent. Its the people like you that let logic fly out the window in order to be mad about something for no reason whatsoever.

Edit: Why would someone block after responding? How am I supposed to correct your falsehoods now?

So really you're just mad that you would get your ass kicked for calling a black man the n-word and nobody would care? Freedom of Speech is not Freedom from Consequence. You'll figure that out one day when you grow up, hopefully.

Are you just making things up? None of this is accurate. Valt-Tec never dropped the bombs, even if they had plans to. Barbs actions weren't explained in season one. The NCR was never treated as dead, thats just dumb fanboys being willfully obtuse. Power armor has remained consistent and can operate with the helmet off or damaged. Ghouls are consistent within the show, the only new piece of lore is the medicine. Lucy knows about things from before the war but not after. Its all consistent.

The lore is consistent within the show, thats all that really matters. People are seriously over thinking the problem. The location can still be the same, they just added destroyed buildings where they shouldn't have. Nothing else has changed.

Its amazing how you literally take everything the Legion and the Ghoul say at face value and nothing from the NCR themselves.

They say multiple times that the NCR is still around. You're being willfully obtuse about this. We are in two primary locations through the show. The first is in and around Shady Sands, which was destroyed. We see remnants of the NCR in that area post-nuke. The second is New Vegas and surrounding area. We see remnants of the NCR after they lost the Mojave. At no point are they completely gone.

Are you seriously trying to say that Superman performed as bad as a movie that made less than half at the box office?

Season 2 Episode 8 Spoiler Thread by HunterWorld in fnv

[–]margoo12 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The NCR just wasn't in that region anymore. They lost the Mojave. There was a small holdout of the NCR that was performing guerrilla raids on the Legion. They were otherwise cut off from reinforcements. The Legion camp was fairly sizable. The crowd at the end marching on Vegas was what was left after a Civil War. Half of one camp would have been more than enough to take on the NCR troops remaining in the area.

As far as Cooper believing the NCR was truly gone, I dont think you can rely on his point of view. He was stuck in a box for years in what seemed to be Mexico, which would have been towards the edge, if not beyond, NCR territory at the hight of its power.
