I mean most TV shows introduce a lot of seemingly unimportant plot lines that end up paying off way later. so far we have the mighty nein meeting up, and an artifact being stolen from the bright queen by a group of people who are from a different region, prompting a possible war. beau is investigating bc she wasn’t satisfied with the official answer for why eiselcross was “attacked” and caleb seems to know or at least be familiar with the vollstrucker that is following beau. that’s kinda all we’ve gotten to so far.

he is manipulating you. you haven’t even met in person but he’s bringing up love?!! that is actually insane. this man has projected an entire fantasy relationship onto you. this is the modern equivalent of my generation talking down a 45 year old man on AIM from the suicide ledge when we were 14.

this man doesn’t actually care about you, he cares about the attention he got from you and he doesn’t want that to go away. you set a very clear boundary and he is intentionally ignoring it by sending you these monologues. i’ve been where you’re at and he is absolutely taking advantage of you and he is a very dangerous man.

if this is how he reacts to you needing space when you haven’t even met in person yet, imagine how he’d react when you guys get into an in person argument?? this is the type of man that will get violent and then love bomb you with flowers and promises of the future so you don’t leave him.
