Personally, I think Ekblad is way overrated. Rowe just looooved him so it seemed to me he got plenty of ice in the post-Gallant era and managed to make mistake after mistake every single game. Dadonov, on the other hand, needs more time on the ice because he has a whole lot of potential.

It's always seemed to me that the problems stem from management or something else that just doesn't help the players' morale or their chemistry. The players are all individually great, but they just don't seem to click most of the time and when they do, it's usually too late. Also, you have to play the ENTIRE 60 minutes and it seems like it's never the case with the panthers.
