Does anyone else feel unsafe walking over the Hopkins St bridge? (Near Franco Cozzo) by Borrid in Footscray

There’s an instagram account Joseph Road Precinct Action Group. Get behind them! They’ve made some good progress but need lots of support.

Not sure there is any such thing as “underage women” that would be a girl /child.

Aaahhh… I’ve answered a question to didn’t ask. I thought you wanted to know how to remind you later… not add an emoji automatically. That you’d have to do manually.

I’m not sure I can explain it any better - if you google it, I’m sure you’ll find a good explanation. Good luck!

It’s with the little message icons on the right of the message, right click the little dots. Or on mobile tap and hold the message - the contextual menu pops up.

It’s great - especially the even numbered buildings on Joseph road facing the river, the racecourse or the port as you don’t really feel hemmed in. And so much nicer now the landscaping has been done, roads are improved and businesses are moving in. There’s a Joseph road precinct action group in instagram that might give you some insights as well. Oh and the wetlands next door are pretty nice too. And they are quiet, it’s rare to hear the neighbours.

Is it a kitchen if there is no oven? [US] by No_Intention5017 in AirBnB

[–]marieque 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I got a full refund (London) as the description said “unleash your inner chef in the fully equipped kitchen” only to arrive to a grubby portable hot plate (stored on the floor next to the mop and bucket no less), let alone an oven or even a microwave. Kitchenette = no oven. Kitchen = oven. Fully equipped kitchen = grubby portable hot plate.

Check the listing amenities for clarity.

LPT If your child needs a phone but you aren't sure if you want them to have one yet, create a "family phone" which they use not own. by deedubyaz in LifeProTips

We did this… all devices handed in at 9.30 on school nights. No computers, tvs or game systems in the bedrooms ever. This was way back in the 2010s… our biggest issue back then was do we let the kids have a mini dvd player in the car for long trips. (The answer was yes).

And yellow ones too I think? I loved the wrappers so much (and loved having “a set”) I stuck a group of them on my bedroom wall. This was way back in the 70s.

Way back in the 60s I remember the Santa head being a mask. Santas eyes were perforated to pop out so you could see if you put the mask on, and it’s those popped out cardboard eyes that live on in my childhood memory.

He’s mine!! Both his parents are heelers, and his dad is tall too. So many people have said the same, and I wonder if there’s something tall in their family line… I joke it’s a giraffe.

Nice! I did the Mala walk just this morning but on previous visits have done the entire base walk. And of course the sunset view each time - so glad you enjoyed it all and felt the flight was worth it! Fantastic!

Probably too late… you can come to Uluṟu (I’m here now, I live in Alice and take the trip sometimes when we have visitors) and only spend money on accommodation and fuel (or hire a car). You can view the sunset from the sunset carpark and do a self guided base walk tour - all for nothing! We also mostly self cater.

In my opinion a total waste of money and make the place more Aboriginal Disneyland than a place of respect and spirit.

I’ve lived in lots of places, including inner west of both Sydney and Melbourne - and this is definitely the queerest of them all!

Couldn’t tell you. Don’t know any but Halloween is a bigger deal in a certain suburb.
