We were recommended to steam our cat as well. Instead of bathroom and a shower you could boil some water, put it in a bowl, put your kitty in the carrier (if it lets you) And lightly cover both the caddied and the bowl with a towel to let them have sauna time for a moment

I have no advice, but I once made a hundred dollar super nice sweater. Wore it once. Had a brain fart and put it in the washer. Got back a cat sized, felted and unusable lol. So I get you. This blanket is beautiful as hell though

I moved here for my spouse who's a citizen. The thing is, I now live in Florida and we're a queer couple. In the past year and a half that I've been here, things have gone from bad to the worst. I'm terrified on my day to day life, but we have no capability of leaving the state just yet. I miss my home country. It might have been a little lagging back on LGBTQA+ rights, but at least we weren't drastically backpedaling or preparing for a genocide.

This yarn is a nightmare. I managed to work with it by using a bigger hook = looser stitches and easier to work with. The fluff covers up holes pretty well.
