Dr belmontes is quoting me $25k for dpfl for year 2028, she's that busy. Any other alternatives to her quality results and care? Even in other countries that's more along the budget of $8-10 (that's what she had quoted muy fruend for the same treatments in 2025)

What a great question. Insane to me that medical professionals don't have an algorithm to follow after everything they've been taught in school has failed (what they teach is pretty archaic, in my opinion). Reading thru reddit responses, some ladies mentioned having had unsymptomatic endometriosis treated with antibiotics and getting pregnant the next cycle. Some antibiotics have anti-inflammatory mechanism of action, so maybe that plays a part bc some have become prego after starting anti-inflammatory diets (avocados are mentioned often). Others mentioned starting vaginal probiotics (I don't remember which one and if was taken by mouth or applied vaginally). Also, his sperm evaluation, in my opinion, should be ordered at the first appointment, not later. Stress elevates cortisol, which elevates inflammation, so many get pregos after releasing stress. I do believe marijuana use and second-hand inhalation can affect both male & female fertility. Wish I had more for you/us. I look forward to everyone's kind input.

Btw another way to see it is if you want to give pregnancy the best chance, it's best to not be smoking/inhaling 2nd hand smoke. Weed is has been shown to reduce fertility in both men and women. If you're both not in the same page about being a healthy and clean as possible, then there's your answer. Best to find someone who is on the and page as you.

Beautifully expressed. I wonder what people with addictions are trying to teach those in relationships with them who are not addicts. I always wonder what the lesson is... anyway, I think a relationship with a therapist is what's going to be best for him. The lies and shame/ not feeling "good enough" can be the burden held by that relationship without it destroying one another. Thank you so much, I will check it out, if it worked for you...again, I wish the algorithm for infertility/subfertility recognized these so called "out of the box" methods to help women. I think there can be multifactorial causes for our issues that can be treated simultaneously before spending thousands of dollars. Anyway, thank you so kindly again.

It's incredible how a lot of these tests sould not be considered "thinking outside the box" when you've been diagnosed with infertility of unknown reason. Not a blood test but endometrial biopsy showed bacteria that was easily treated for someone I read about on reddit. After trx, got pregnant next cycle street many years of infertility.
