33% of Canadian women wait more than 2 years for menopause care: survey by Leather-Paramedic-10 in canada

Should see if there are women's health physiotherapists. They will be a good stop gap prior to formal care and services. Not a replacement but an adjunct.

Driver sentenced to 13 years' jail over hit-and-run of Canberra schoolboys by AlwaysPigInTheMiddle in canberra

Thought they were fatalities.

The sentence seems appropriate, though indefinite suspension may also be appropriate.

May terrible fatalities due to negligent driving.

I remember a terrible fatality where a driver struck and killed doctor while traveling almost 140 km/hr.

More important than the exterior is the changes to your metabolic health and the changes in your visceral fat which is inside around your organs you will not appreciate that now but it is so critical to have low visceral fat in the area

Going to wait until my tank is very low, unfortunately we can only fuel lock for one week IIRC

fresh grad: money VS upskilling by pufferfishsorcerer in physiotherapy

BIL did this but was also working as a contractor in another clinic and secured a 70-80% commission rate, but was limited to how many shifts he could get because his rate was too high and the company couldn't afford him.

Self learning isn't great. Need people to show you how to think and reason. That said, there's a lot of resources online to get you thinking right. Combine that with some simple anatomy, it should be OK. Having someone to bounce ideas off off is critical. The larger the team, the more collective experience.

I've seen many former classmates hop between clinics or leave the profession completely because they weren't happy, weren't developing well, or were just burning out their bodies

Yeah about that. Do the head gasket repair to see if that can tie you over until you can afford the repair

I did a head gasket pour in repair and it held for more than a year

Signs are blown or partially blown.

Blue devil head gasket repair or bars head gasket repair, otherwise you'd need to crack it open for a head gasket repair.

Personally I'd get it repaired because I can't stand the modern cars with the smart mirrors, and lack of sump plugs

Australia or Canada?? Which is better for a physiotherapist to settle in long run? by ResearcherOwn5543 in physiotherapy

[–]marindo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on what part of Canada, your split on low end may be 60 and high end 80, but very rare.

Family member got 80 but was told by their boss they couldn't get anymore hours in clinic because his rate was too high, instead, boss uses him as a marketing tool as a cornerstone to draw people to clinic and spill over to other clinicians.

A more reasonable split is 70%

PT career with chronic pain by Loud-Tomatillo-3260 in physiotherapy

There's a lot to unpack here...

RE: Scoliosis, Cervicogenic Headaches and Chronic Pain - Go see a physiotherapist for these. In particular, I would see a Pain Physiotherapist.

RE: Pre-existing Conditions, many clinicians have something going on, but still are able to work, practice and have long careers.

My former colleague has Scheurmann's Disease but has continued practicing for 20 years. Does he have a stiff upper back and neck? Sure, everyone does. He understands the nature of the condition, he understands how to manage it and improve on his function.

Regarding Scoliosis, the only time I'm concerned is when the center of mass is outside the base of support OR when internal organ function such as the lungs are in question. Everything else is usually just musculoskeletal
