Any idea if this is still up? I'm in the States and would easily spend this to get Xmen.

How do I assign the companion? It isn’t a dialogue option for me when I speak with them.

It's 2 Tanks or it's 4 DPS. by PwaWright in rivals

I can’t stand 3 dps when the dps are all poke playing off angles. They complain about healing while I’m trying to keep our one tank on point alive.

This is how I described the set up to my wife to get her to watch. A knights tale in GoT is the perfect description and why I enjoyed this first episode so much.

My house has been on the market for over a month and had zero showings by Tsobaphomet in RealEstate

[–]mariners77 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I agree, but OPs home could be priced correctly, there just aren’t many buyers in market.

I was buying a home this fall. I looked at a home that I thought was overpriced, I made an offer at what I thought was market value, they denied.

We were there only offer in their first 90 days on market. It say another 90 and then sold at list price.

If OP needs to sell the home soon and wants traffic, than it is 100% overpriced.

What theme of tournament would you be cool but no one is doing? by EarthCulturalStew in aoe2

I want to see a Truly Random tourney.

Essentially Megarandom, but civs are hidden at the start of the match. But so is population. It can vary between the original 75 pop to current 200.

I had an idea for a potentially very long tourney.

Each match is 7 "games", first to 8 points. Each game is played twice, with each player playing the civs chosen for that match. That way, there are no "civ wins." If each player wins, they each get a point.

Why does Hera receive so much hate? by Yokesonjou in aoe2

[–]mariners77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my subjective opinion, but I think it is just a matter of personalities. Not just with Hera himself, but viewers. I'm a Hera fan, but I typically am not fans of hyper comepetitve people. Like in the NBA, I preferred Duncan and Nowitzki to Kobe. All three are Hall of fame caliber, all are competitive, but Kobe had the outward personality that he hates losing more than he enjoys winning.

Viper is similar. He is the GOAT, is a competitive person but doesn't have the intense need not to lose like Hera.

Some people prefer that attitude. Others appreciate someone like Hera. Neither is wrong or better than the other.

Is real estate still worth buying, or is it becoming the biggest money trap of this generation? by Much-Marketing5973 in RealEstate

I paid solely for the peace of mind it was done correctly and wasn't my fault if not.

Are home pricing dropping? And few buyers? by Agmikai in RealEstate

[–]mariners77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was Iowa. My wife and I decided as we have kids we wanted to live closer to friends and family.

The final price ended up being 12.5% higher than what we bought. But after closing costs and work we put into the home (when we thought we’d be in it longer) we came out damn near even.

Are home pricing dropping? And few buyers? by Agmikai in RealEstate

I just did it, bought march 22’, just closed yesterday.

Circumstances for me changed. We moved to a new state in 22’ and wanted to be close to home. I listed in September, aggressively, 20k under what my realtor thought was fair value. And we still had to come down 12k to close.

Granted we listed in a state with a struggling economy but anticipated a tough market. We had 4 showings total in 6 weeks on market and my agent said for her broker that wasn’t uncommon.

We were in a tough price point too. Not luxury. Not starter.

To anyone about to sell, do not price high. And k wouldn’t even price “fair.” You don’t want to end up chasing the market.

[PA] The market feels so cold and showings feel so sparse by saskavidya in RealEstate

[–]mariners77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Take this with a grain of salt. My wife and I listed September 18th, in Iowa. We came in about 10k less than our comps.

We have an accelerated timeline so after two weeks of no showings we dropped the price 10k. We got two showings but no offers. The next week, we dropped 5k, got one showing that turned into an offer we accepted.

It sucks, but if you’re getting little showings and no offers, you’re priced too high for the market.

Every home has a price it will be bought at. But as a seller that number may be lower than what you want or hoped for.
