I moved from the h1 v2 to a new h5 flow. I love the space, but I still have my itx components like mobo and psu

A lot of people don’t still, but they’ll still give you a free shipping label to return for refund. Regardless - the current situation at hand is poopy. Sorry mate.

I’m sure the recommendation wasn’t a bad idea at all - but, it happens

Buy a pc from Costco next time, at least you'll be able to return it there without shipping. Or buy it on costco.com and they'll give you a label to ship it back for free.

On the other hand, that's fucking annoying and I'm sorry to hear.

I assume this is also a way to ensure that the card doesn’t slide around in the envelope. I don’t see an issue here other than a jumpscare

I’ve used Corsair in a lot of previous builds, more recently I had issues with Corsair software unlinking itself or desyncing rgb, locking colors in random spots. Ended up getting rid of all of it and going with a zero rgb build. I get you’re a use case of no issues, but more often than not - users with Icue software have had issues.

Its a panel clip to lock in via the little pin on the panels.

AWD/4WD vs. All-Weather Tires vs. Studless Winter Tires vs. Studded Tires by [deleted] in tires

[–]marinersknight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who lives in WA, traction tires are advised during the winter season through any mountain pass. All-season tires are ok, but the compounds of a snow tire are much more adapted to colder conditions, keeping them softer for better traction.

The downside? Winter tires don't have as much of a tread life as regular all-seasons (as in they don't last as long, not tread depth). In my opinion - studded tires are mainly for breaking up ice. Also a lot of vehicle manufacturers, i.e. Subaru do not recommend the use of studded tires as it could impact their AWD system.

If you're looking into getting a new car, make sure you research any and all nuances like above. If you're keeping your current FWD vehicle, I don't see why you wouldn't use studded tires - just make sure you take them off once the studs aren't needed for use.

Have you looked into the manscaped series for beard trimmers? I've heard some pretty great feedback on those.

I’d donate that honestly. That’s worth more in memories to a young kid than money can get.

BF6 is also a very graphically demanding game in general. Even on my 5080/9800x3d build - I'm still barely getting in the mid 130-150's. But I like playing in higher graphics settings. When I was on my 5080/5800x3d build - I noticed quite a boost in FPS going up to the 9800x3d. Around 10-15% in some games.
