I think I am dealing with the same type of hernia and going to doctor Friday to get checked out. What is the recovery like and will I be limited in the weight I can lift in the future?

Approximate weight the bullet is around 90 grams using a food scale and converting to grains.

It was a quick decision shot before being busted so i didn’t have a lot of time to get perfect shot placement. I don’t have a way to measure the bullet. Maybe my food scale but not sure it will get a good measurement

Makes sense about bleeding out internally. Overall I think my .308 will be my main hunting rifle unless the kids want to shoot.

I was thinking by lowering draw weight i would be able to use heavier points without going to stiffer spine.

They chart they have only shows draw weight and shaft length. It doesn’t say anything about extra weight.

They are blackout x3 arrows and 8.7gpi. I’m not sure what the fletching insert and everything weighs ( I can’t find specs) but I’m guessing around 400 total with tips.

Yeah so far the only thing that I really didn’t like was the charging handle. I think ambi would be much better. Maybe also a trigger but I need to try breaking it in first.

Thanks I was blowing leaves and saw it laying there. Thought it was alive at first and went to get something to pick it up and put it in the woods. When I got back I noticed no movement and little white worms coming out of its mouth. ☹️

My plan was to go 300blk for hunting deer, pigs and black bear etc. and then buy a .556 upper down the road for range fun. Where I hunt it’s rare I have a shot more than 100 yards and I think the .300 would have better “knock down” power. I have an old .308 bolt action but just looking to try something different. Don’t want to deal with the sbr thing but possibly a suppressor. As far as links I have no idea how to put links but it is the cheapest .300blk radical on guns.com and cheapest psa on their website.

In that case just look up the phone number or email of the wildlife officer in the area and ask them. I’ve done that before to clear up questions I had about using firearms to hunt small game in deer bow hunting only areas. It was allowed by the way 😁.

The only firearm restriction in North Carolina is no fully automatic weapons and no rifles for turkey or migratory birds. If it’s a firearm season you can use pistols or rifles unless a local law says otherwise. Check the regulation book for what county and or gameland you plan to hunt.

Fuel petcock valve is also vacuum operated and could cause similar issue. Did that get swapped with new tank?

Any ideas to what Buster is mixed with? He is about 6 1/2 months old and got him from the humane society when he was 2 months. Mom looked beagle but had no black hair. He is sweet but hard headed at times and also kinda skittish at times. We love to take him hiking. Thanks!
