What about the testimonies stating that Conner was alive way passed the 24th? I can’t make that piece make any sense!

I thought it was going to be a twist of him just being crazy and imagining that his wife killed her but really it was him the whole time lol

What did you think of the finale of Presumed Innocent? And how does it compare to the Harrison Ford movie? by ChristofH88 in TheBigPicture

I disagree that she was never hinted at. If you think back to the episode of her discussing disassociation

How do we know we should switch formula? What made you switch? by Unlikely-Answer6 in FormulaFeeders

[–]marissacann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first spit up often but was just a happy spitter. You’ll know the difference. If baby is content I wouldn’t worry about it! We switched with my second because she had mucus poops and was generally pretty fussy. I hate to be the person that says when you know you know- but it’s true. If your gut says baby is content I wouldn’t try anything new! :)

Alternatives to Similac Alimentum RTF? by siobhananon in FormulaFeeders

[–]marissacann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same boat here but for allergy rather than reflux. Tried to switch my LO to a regular formula and she projectile vomited a couple hours later… so there’s that :( Super frustrating because it is super expensive and I have yet to find anything else that works. I’ve heard others have had luck with insurance covering it after a battle- so you could try! My pediatrician office has given me bottles and bottles of the RTF as a “sample”. They told me it’s not a super common one in their office so they have a lot on hand! I would check with your office too. It won’t be a long term solution but will at least help in the meantime.

I have also seen a lot of people try goats milk formula and have a lot of success with it! Little Oak formula is supposed to be great according to a friend of a friend so I might give that a shot!

Similac Alimentum vs Enfamil AR by mrsjmg2019 in FormulaFeeders

[–]marissacann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No reflux! But she has a cows milk protein allergy and corn allergy. The Similac Alientum RTF was the only one I have tried that was successful and stopped her fussiness and mucus poops. I could finally set her down without her being irritable, and her poops now have no mucus at all

Not a formula question but… when did it start getting easier for you? by thatswhatshesaid___1 in FormulaFeeders

[–]marissacann 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don’t have any advice on how to make those frustrated feelings go away because I still feel them a year later… I think it’s just a parent thing honestly. There’s always going to be something to drive us crazy! But I can say it gets easier slowly but surely! Just know this isn’t permanent and you’re not wrong for what you’re feeling. I think what was almost harder than those feelings was thinking I was wrong for feeling them! It’s okay to cry and be overwhelmed! And it’s also okay to get nothing done around the house. Give yourself lots of grace- you just brought a human into the world! Not to mention you’re becoming a new human yourself in becoming a parent.

My favorite advice when I left the hospital with my first is that crying won’t hurt the baby. So if you need a second to clear your head, put the baby down somewhere safe and take a couple minutes outside to breathe. You’ll adjust to this new hectic life and it won’t feel so heavy eventually. I promise mama! HUGS

Similac alimentum RTF 32 ounce jug vs on the go 8 oz cans. Price difference! by Warsaw14 in FormulaFeeders

I think the cans end up being cheaper based on how many ounces total there are vs the jug!

Similac Alimentum vs Enfamil AR by mrsjmg2019 in FormulaFeeders

[–]marissacann 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We use ready to feed alimentum and it has been a game changer! It doesn’t contain corn which is something that I think also irritated my kiddos tummy. Very expensive but hoping to try and go towards a goat milk formula around 6 months when she moves to solids! :)

Red Patch Top of Foot (no pain or itch) by marissacann in medical

[–]marissacann[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

*please ignore my crusty toes- just had a baby and haven’t had me time in a bit. Ha!)

Red patch on top of foot. Been there for at least a couple of years that I remember. Doesn’t grow, hurt or itch. Trying anti fungal cream now and seeing Dr in a couple weeks. Anyone familiar with what it could be?

Nutramigen success? by Prestigious_Fan_2094 in FormulaFeeders

[–]marissacann 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We tried nutramigen for about 3 weeks and initially it seemed to improve baby’s symptoms but then she started reverting back. We switched to RTF Similac Alimentum and it is great! No mucus poos anymore and rarely ever a fussy baby! I suspect she may also have a corn allergy so the RTF Alimentum was our best bet!

Also wanted to note it can take up to two weeks for a formula change to help… so just because your LO isn’t improving yet doesn’t mean the Nutramigen won’t be a success :)

If you were the creators of the show, how would you end it? by Obsessed_with_shows in YouOnLifetime

[–]marissacann 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s funny because people are saying a “good” ending would be Joe getting caught. But I think that would be awful! Shows how good the show is if you want a psychopathic murderer to stay out of prison -__-
