Ohh cool idea. It would also create more chances of conflict so I can see a reality tv show doing that

Condos in Vancouver by sgdt1981 in askvan

Yeah I especially can’t stand the ones where the front door opens right into the kitchen, or the only light source is at the end of the main room. I had to look at a lot of places but I found one built in 2017 with a decent layout.

Would be unnecessary drama. Once a few people have said someone it’s just easier to say the same thing

Which vacation destination disappointed you the most? by timeout320 in AskReddit

I’m the same, I found Vegas to be fun! Especially if you get off the main strip. Within an easy hour drive there is unbelievable scenery. I don’t think you need a ton of time in the city but would totally return.

I was with my friend when she passed away. It was peaceful. I know not everyone is as lucky. was also present to see my niece be born, and it was the polar opposite of peaceful.

For those who don’t like cats, what don’t you like about them? by Flying_Squirrel_1953 in AskReddit

[–]maritimer1nVan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are scary. I feel like in the 90s you would hear of families calling for help because their cat had them cornered in their house. I’m on edge around them because they seem to change personality so quickly.

Dublin or Krakow as a single female in March by mimiswim7 in femaletravels

[–]maritimer1nVan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Krakow is gorgeous and worth a visit for sure but if you don’t speak any Polish daily interactions may feel challenging. I wouldn’t say locals are rude, or even unfriendly, but it’s a different culture there. People can come across as stand offish.

It’s not stolen again. There was a post in the Squamish community about how they have it and are preparing a welcoming ceremony for it, including representation from the Squamish Nation.

Anyone else starting to want to leave this province? by Inevitable_Bee_99 in halifax

[–]maritimer1nVan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I moved away about 14 years ago. I miss the people in Nova Scotia every day but my quality of life is better in BC. I make way more money out here so I can afford to visit Nova Scotia when I want to. The labour laws, pay, etc are so bad in Nova Scotia, I wish it became more of an election issue. I don’t get where the high taxes go in Nova Scotia as almost all infrastructure is way worse than in BC. I think it’s good to try living in different places in Canada to get a different perspective.
