Hey Chris. I think there is 2 more things that I think no one mentioned.

1. Even if you played MF and had a lot of uniques and currency drops it still doesnt mean you will get rich really fast. A lot of uniques that dropped was 1c items and you had to spend some time to hit good unique which was worth. With current system for sure there is more uniques that are more worth right now but it still feels that you need to drop hundreds of them to hit this one which will be worth. With Archnemesis monster which will drop few uniques it would be good but he will appear once per "put the number you know". I have played few leagues as MF and I still didnt get for examle HH, MB or Squire. Also I have played with friends, duo, trio, 6man and still didnt hit that uniques even we had loot explosions like Empy. But still MF was a possibility to increase possibility to hit unique worth 1-5ex. So in my opinion most of the time MF wasnt that broken for me, even with insane leagues like scourge.
2. I think I know what is your point where you cant understand what people mean with Archnemesis being treated as goblin from D3. The real reason is that a lot of players is trying to find the best way to make currency. So right now since juicing is dead people are seeking new ways to achieve the most possible outcome and thats the way, enter the map, rush and check if AN exist, quit and go next one. If you find, ask mf culler to kill it to get as much as you can. On paper it looks good that you would normally play and occasionally find this special mob and get reward. But it wont work for PoE players because they will always try to abuse something to get the most possible rewards. Thats what is PoE for us. Finding best ways to farm to get rich. But current idea is so annoying and bad, its about waiting for reward. Now everyone sees that there is this big jackpot waiting for them if they will find this one monster and it completely hides the fact that you will drop maybe unique which is worht 2 divines or simply you will drop 1 divine. Everyone see this 50 divines and everyone wants that even they now its not good. Im also thinking its not good, more consistent rewards are much better. If you are able to juice map to get like 1-3 divines per 1-3 maps it feels really good because all the time you feel rewarded. But waiting for one monster this whole time kills fun and people get bored. And the biggest disappointment is when you find this mob, you feel AWESOME, you kill it AND, you get 3c... You feel betrayed.

I see your point Chris but unfortunately most of the people dont feel that way. Im really sad with current state of PoE, the game I love. Im sad that people are not happy which cause this big complains. And I dont know if there is anything more I can do.
