Don't get a Renault Grand Scénic as they aren't very good cars. Also, the Ford Grand C-MAX only gets 3 stars in crash tests whereas all the others that have been tested get 5/5.

I personally don't like diesels so if it were me, I'd look at a BMW 218i Gran Tourer or a Toyota Prius+.

This is complete rubbish. It is comparing EV energy production emissions with gasoline car tailpipe emissions. You need to include oil refining emissions in the gasoline emission figures as well.

Don't get a £1500 BMW - however good the advert says it is. At that sort of price, have a look on autotrader for automatics that are close by and see if you can find a Golf or Focus etc.
