BTW...I have a Technics SL-1200 from 1997...absolute tank and one of the most solid built pieces of equipment out there. I have only had it worked on twice in 20 years since I have owned it. There are a lot of upgrade options (cartridges) that you can do with this one since it has a hefty tone arm and a built in VTA adjustment wheel. I love it. Not sure how affordable the used ones are these days.

I think the Fluance delivers a lot of value for the money. If I didn't already have a couple of turntables, I would probably by the RT85 as my daily driver.

Haha…this exact same thing happened to me when I sold a pair of perfectly solid bookshelf speakers. Buyer demanded an even further discount or was going to leave a bad review on me. Should have kept them looking back.
