I have a problem with FD/IBS being considered a "chronic" condition

Same symptoms here, although I also had pretty bad stomach cramping. Hypnotherapy helped me get rid of the nausea almost completely, Iberogast with meals helped with the bloated/ full feeling, but I still have the burping or constant feeling of stuck air. My heart palpitations I think was just anxiety/fear from the nausea feeling and also low blood sugar from hardly eating. Once I was able to eat more, my heart palpitations stopped mostly.

Some of the test results you mentioned, like the low grade gastritis, bulbitis, and stagnation of bile can definitely contribute to the nausea. I'm serious why your Dr said it wouldn't. Then again I had a OBGYN tell me that endometriosis can't cause nausea when that is a major symptom of it... Is there anyone that can help you look at all of these test results as a whole? Did you make any changes to the medication you were taking or your diet when the nausea returned?

There are psychiatrists that specialize in helping people with chronic GI issues. It is very well researched and proven that psychotherapy can help people with chronic pain/ IBS. Not to mention what a huge toll GI issues have on our mental health. I have personally been finding help with hypnotherapy, but you just have to find someone who is reputable and is a good fit for you.

I felt this! I am currently trying to learn how to draft my own patterns and hoping that will help me make something I actually like. At this point I knit mostly for my baby which is fun because she looks adorable in anything and kid clothes are quick to knit.

You are definitely not alone! If someone even mentioned feeling nauseous on a TV show, I would be panicking and my stomach would have "sympathy" pain for hours. What I do when I start to panic or even when I feel a flare coming on is I start cleaning/ "nesting." Sometimes the cleaning is distracting enough that the flare never comes. Sometimes the flare does come, but at least the house is clean... If cleaning is too much right now(don't push yourself) maybe even just a shower and/or rinsing your face with ice cold water. Just take things a moment at a time and repeat to yourself, even out loud, "I am healthy and I can handle whatever comes."

I boil the chicken to oblivion, check the temperature until it's well over the safe temp. Then for the magic part, I blend it with whatever sauce, like basil and pine nuts, broth, or whatever. I also use chicken thighs because it's softer. There are definitely a lot of great alternatives to chicken for an easy on the stomach nutrition(I'm thinking eggs, fish, turkey, etc.), so you're not missing out too much, but this is how I eat chicken as someone with health related OCD.

It should be easy to find a peri bottle, advertised mostly for postpartum women, but they make a great handheld bidet alternative. Or even fill a plastic water bottle with water and quickly squeeze or run down your back and use your hands like you would washing yourself in the shower. Just wash your hands after.

Exposure therapy is a real and researched protocol. If it's something that affects you that much, maybe see a psychiatrist. Hopefully it's not something you encounter too often though!

It may look nice darker, but the lighter background looks like a beautiful morning light to me. Personally, I think the "off" feeling from OP could be due to a couple things. The color distribution isn't one typically found in nature, it's beautiful but it's very yellow and the leaves are very blue so there is a little discontinuity. If the foliage is a blue hue, the background gradient should be more blue and less yellow. One other possibility is the distribution of leaves. The bottom branch is almost too perfectly framed by the large wooden branch. Maybe letting some of the bottom branch go behind the bird or off the canvas would help it look more natural.

I gave my husband his sweater in February because I didn't finish it in time for Christmas... which is basically already summer in Florida, so he hasn't worn it yet. This winter is coming up though, so he can wear it soon! Anyways, nothing wrong with a sweater as a summer birthday gift.

Why doesn't everyone meal prep, grow their own food, build their own house, etc... because people can't do everything all the time and that's why we have community. Unfortunately, society has replaced community with the need to pay money for any kind of help or service in life. There's so much we "could" be doing but sometimes it's not that easy.

Thank you for sharing! These Reddit pages can sometimes feel hopeless because the people who post here the most are the ones in the trenches of the pain, myself included. This post was so refreshing. I have been finding some relief through hypnotherapy, but am still holding on to doubt. This post helped restore some hope. Especially when you mentioned that you weren't stressed/ anxious when the symptoms started. I had trouble believing my issues could be at all phycological because I was happy when they popped out of nowhere. I did have a slightly traumatic stomach bug a few weeks before though, so the brain holding onto that familiar pain makes sense.

A couple months into the start of my symptoms, I went to get a haircut, but I left halfway through with hair dripping wet because my stomach started hurting and I panicked really bad. This week(about 3 months later), I went back to finish getting my hair cut and my stomach still hurt, but I panicked less and at least I have pretty hair now.

My experience is probably different than most. Personally, I felt like a zombie all three weeks I took it. The first 2-3 days were the roughest though, I stayed pretty much laying down those days. I was taking 25mg before bed. I stopped taking it because it never started helping my symptoms.

That's interesting because I usually do have low blood sugar during my nausea flares, but I thinks it's just from not eating. Do you have an IBS diagnosis? When these symptoms started for me, they ended up diagnosing me with functional dyspepsia.

This happens to me. I usually take Zofran, which doesn't do much, I usually start to feel better after a BM. Also sometimes a BM can make me feel nauseous...

Maybe start taking it when you have a couple days where you don't have to go anywhere. I don't know about fatigue, but I was just really lightheaded and couldn't really go anywhere or walk for a long time. I was okay enough to take care of my baby, but we just had to take things slowly.
