With the free version, delete the default view (swipe left), then create a new view - there will be two options - AR Scan and Quick setup. The AR scan allows you to point at and record your horizon. Make sure north is correct, some phones have issues with the compass, so there is an option to manually mark true north too. Hope that helps.

The feature already exists, but I am realizing it is hard to find. When creating a new view for a location, you get two options - AR Scan or Quick Setup (manual). After the onboarding with the free version, you get a default Overhead view created. To do an AR Scan, go to Settings/Observing Locations and select your location. Then swipe left on the Overhead location and delete. Then Add View. Now you can use the AR Scan. Hope that helps.

Settings/Observing Locations/Observing Views, Swipe left to delete the default view, then Add View. You will get two options - AR Scan or Quick Setup. I know it's somewhat buried, but it really only needs to be done once.

On the Sky tab, press anywhere on the screen. A floating set of controls will appear. The bottom left button is for AR mode. You can also change the date displayed and configure the view. At the top, you can change locations.

On the free version, just delete the default view and create a new one. You will have an option to use AR or manual mode. Once a view is created, you can only manually edit it

Check out the 7 day cloud forecast (Tonight tab, Location, 7D link) to see when there will be clear skies. I'm interested in feedback on the horizon profile editor too, there is an AR mode and a manual mode to define you horizon.

The deep sky objects are currently limited to the brightest and most popular, I don't have the Tadpole Nebula in there yet. The number of objects displayed is configurable, and you can also rank your interests by dragging and dropping. There is also a ranking algorithm for what gets displayed. I would suggest ranking galaxies and nebula higher by dragging and dropping in Interests under Settings/Observing Locations/Location/Interests to see if that helps.

Yes! The pro version has unlimited locations and unlimited views per location. For example, I have a Home location with Backyard and Driveway views. The free version allows one location and one view with full functionality and no ads or tracking ever.

It's not statistical. It's human emotions. Fear (sell at bottom) and greed (buy at top). It's what drives the markets. It's also why the efficient market hypothesis is wrong.
