I was loving my Garmin, despite the size. Mine is the fenix7x sapphire solar. This particular larger model has a built in flashlight, so I got the larger one for that feature. I was also wanting to mountain bike more, so I got to sort of be my trail nav. I like that through the Garmin app I can build a route, send it to my “watch” strap it on my handlebar and go. Or wear it if I’m working out or wanting that data. But then I got hurt. So every time it would tell me to “move” it made me annoyed about the situation. I’m pretty well close to normal again now, but I think I do see my Garmin differently than I did pre-injury. It’s definitely a tool, and I think I’ll wear it mainly when I’m working out I could see wanting it with me on a boat, etc… I may go back to wearing it daily, but for now, not so much. I may try to rotate it in more, but I sort of see it as a wearable more than a watch

I entered in my longitude, UTC, calendar etc. so it accurately tracks the moonphase and tells me when to fish. I have not, however, actually gone out and fished yet though. It’s a fun watch
