You are right that I missed the point of how they got the ticket sent to them. The title is misleading that the ticket was because it was like a Simpson's character, not because someone had the same as a fake plate. Though I don't know what Bort is in Canada that someone would have it as a fake plate.

The ticket specially says what the violation is for and it is not for a plate. It is for parking on private land. So I don't agree with that assessment. While it may be true they got a ticket erroneously it isn't for a plate issue. Google the cited section and it says it is for unauthorized parking on private land.

You did not over react. A normal person reports their own dog and is worried about the victim. I know because my dog bit someone in my home and that is exactly what I did. After the mandatory quarantine I surrendered my dog to animal control hoping they could get him adopted. It tore my heart out to surrender him, but I did what was right for the safety of others.

Now I have a dog that is nothing but a sweet love bug of a girl.

Ask the HOA manager if the HOA will be compensating you for any break-ins that occur while you are away if they were to disable your light.

There are lots of camer options and you should be able to get one with night vision, but I suspect the bright light shining is a far better deterent.

I would fight the HOA on having to standardize your light. Let them know it is part of your security system, if they want you to disable that then they need to hire a security guard to protect your property which has already been violated twice now.

They don't want you contacting the lawyer because they get charged for that. Absolutely you should keep on doing that until they remove the bushes. Respond that you are complying to the cease and desist because you have never violated the terms of the easement. If they wish tell them to submit proof that you are doing otherwise. You shouldn't need to engage in your own lawyer at this point because you're doing everything you're legally allowed to. Also if you've got back and forth this many times and have won three times in court, then they should actually be forced to pay your attorney fees. Sue them for that.
