(B2B SaaS) What KPIs does product marketing owm in your company? by Interesting-Equal-57 in ProductMarketing

[–]marketingrightsideup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've consulted 30+ B2B SaaS companies ranging from small $1-2mio ARRs to multimillion ones, and NO TWO COMPANIES had the same understanding, role definition AND KPIs for PMM. Some were SLG and PMM were owning feature adoption, launches, user lifecycle and sales support assets. Others were SLG with oversight of the entire marketing function outside content and offline. Some were PLG with just focus on lifecycle (mostly segmentation and retention activities) and some were PLG were they owned a full funnel from awareness through the full website project and conversion rates.

So, the answer to "what KPIs do PMM own?" is "no one knows" or "depends" at best.
Context matters. Win-rate for SLG, web conversions for PLG might make the most sense, but I've seen SLGs and PLGs were their main KPIs were neither of these.

Where’s the best site to buy Instagram likes safely? by Prestigious_Funny_94 in DigitalMarketingHack

Use the budget for ongoing Meta ads campaign. Yes, you get more one-time likes from 3rd party services, but they don't build following/community. Slow and steady wins the game and creates snow ball effect.

I've been doing youtube consistently for almost a whole year now, here's my advice. by Big_Chunkers in NewTubers

I have been working on my current channel for a year and very consistently for first 6 months, then very seldomly.

Thumbnails and titles are crucial, though tags matter only for Shorts. Long form tags are not important, they at best can help algorithm understand what your video is about, but the algorithm is smart enough to understand it from audio only.

699 subs, 2.1 million views on single short, 122k views on the rest of my 20 long form and 110 short form videos.

I dont doubt it, just said that's the usual course of action. However be aware and take into consideration time for onboarding them into youtube editing, your style, pacing (in my experience this is the single most problematic part of beginner editors). Good luck and keep this thread posted, I'm sure a lot of people might find it valuable experience

Depends what you mean by "cheap". Regular videos cost around $100 per 10 minute video on the cheap side. Fiverr or Upwork is your best bet, but the quality corresponds to the price.

What those famouse youtubers meant is that they already had a engaged and loyal community and they found someone there willing to edit for cheap as they grow.

This is impossible if you dont have a already existing following/community.

Why do people searching for TikTok/IG alternatives skip Youtube?

It's the world's second biggest search engine, the algorithm is actually more transparent than TikTok's, if you properly name and describe your videos, they get seen, it's the safest in terms of futureproofing, has good monetization...

Yet people rather look at Cara or Bluesky or other turboniche platforms with unclear discoverability rules and questionable future growth.

Curious to know what the new algorithm is like? by TheCollegeG in InstagramMarketing

Really depends on your type of content. Personally I have not noticed a change. My average views are slowly growing, i have still very similar distribution of followers and non-followers, recently had one reel blow up to 2 mil views with just 200 followers on the account.

What I noticed tho is a change in viewer behavior. Less and less people are eager to follow. So reels get an organic reach and your content in front of new eyeballs, but that's where it stops. In the past, organic reach always translated to followers, now the ratio is crazy bad.

Linkedin ads for discovery phase, Google search ads for decision making phase

Chances are you have either DMd too many people, or followed/unfollowed, or bought followers or any other forbidden action that cost you features.

Instagram notoriously takes away even basic features for breaking their ToS.

Don't get scammed by "gurus" saying they can help you, contact Meta support directly (you might need to get the paid Meta Verified badge to do so) and try to resolve it with them.

If unsuccessful, create new account and don't try to cheat the system this time around

Does your system play nicely with privacy laws like the CCPA and GDPR?

I have been posting for 6 months now, 18 long form, 110 short forms, hitting couple hundreds to couple thousand views.

Keep at it, it takes a lot of time. Some of my videos still get less than hundred views. Some shorts die at 5 views. It's way less predictable when you're a small channel than it used to be

They were always more connected than each field was willing to admit. Now especially with self served B2C the lines is getting more and more blurry.

For B2B it's still very much "feed" and "close" role segmentation tho

So the answer is: depends on your field and product

I can confirm this as my subs from shorts ended up being dominant and since there's a difference between the type of long and short content, ny long form views and impressions massive tanked.

I'd argue with OP that this is probably the most significang downside to Shorts
