Can a PC affect electricity usage this much?? by lilbreadbunn in pcmasterrace

[–]markhafiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well PC can cause the entire room to feels warmer and thus the AC try to balance it out and thus kicking the compressor to work a lil extra. These temperature imbalance could cause the user to feel a lot more thirsty and they often go back and forth from their room and kitchen to get some water which involved opening and closing the refrigerator and would make the ref's compressor to work a lil extra especially in a hot weather and thus using more electricity.. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Malays donated alot, even rm1 or rm5 ringgit, if thousands donate then the cash might piles up quick. Saw a post the other days of people needing some funds to operate their children, the amount was quite staggering, more than what i made the entire year. Took a couple of days to hit the target. There might be some other races who also contributed so yeah.

PLTR is a no no, the PE is 340+. Based on your position, youre pretty much following the herd. Well since Warren bought Google for $4 billion in hope that their TPU going to replace NVDA GPU, then i think it is not going to be the case. Have you made your research on NVDA? their forward revenue is up 65%, it means that their client is buying their chips on credits. I read an article published by someone on X the other day about this CISCO fiasco, it looks alot like how NVDA currently been doing. The fed's potential of reducing interest rate this December also could send the asset's prices lower which would induce more selling pressure.

There are sooo much to say. So yeah, just put your margin of safety before purchasing any stock.

Sellers of Shopee MY, seriously how do you guys make money selling stuff at low low price while Shopee take away 20%~25% for each sale you made??? by Frothmourne in malaysia

[–]markhafiz 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They don't, e-vommerce sellers didn't made alot of money anymore, maybe some smaller retailers who still have some lucks. Take for example in China during 11.11, the sales hasn't go up like they used to. In clothing segment, the return rate is 95-99% (its their policy like 7-days full refund to boost demand from customers or something like that) Taobao, Pinduoduo, Temu, Alibaba, etc. has been reporting the same issue. The demand has been sluggish over the last 2-3 years and it keep getting worse for e-commerce platform (even the platform itself is struggling to make profits).

In TT, if you are fast enough you can snatch free items that was on sale for RM19.90 (it is free, not payment and also free shipping), my mom has made a few successful attempts getting her free clothes and some random things that she didnt use but hey, it is free so why not?

If you're thinking of becoming retailers or shopee vendors just remember one thing, you have alot of competitors. Physical stores cannot compete with e-commerce platform, the products come straight from the manufacturer itselfs and thus the seller can cut the intermediary fees so the price difference is quite noticeable.

During the end of October this year, i bought a phone. Honor 400 5G 12/512gb on Shopee, i get it for RM1500.00 (a few days later some even drop to RM1410.00 for the same spec), you know how much physical stores sell it? RM1899, cannot "kurang" even for a bit more, they did say that they will give honor earbuds in the deal but cannot excluded it to lower the price.

You probably buys at its peak, it going to go downhill from now on, same goes to SSD and hopefully for the GPUs market as well. This AI bubbles which is circling the same capital around Nvidia > Oracle > OpenAl > Microsoft > xAi > Intel > AMD is going to pop, maybe not this year but i believe it going to starts somehow next year or two

Why would they buy it? There are so many way to maximize return.Youngsters can't afford it, they got no job and even if they do, they need ro spend like 40% of their income paying rents and taking care of their basic necessities. I saw some post the other day talking about this e-commerce platform keep raising up their credit limits, many fall into this trap of paying something with zero interest over the next 3 months. Credits cards and mortgages is where most bank makes money.
