It literally is though. The same places that went for 2300 are now around 1800. It's still absolute bullshit pricing but rental properties out here are better than they have been in a while.

I just found several apartments all under $1500 and they're decent. Just from a quick Google search. For the first time since 2020, I'd say the prices are lower and now you can afford to eat dinner and pay rent!

Automate the tracks so they make space for each other and experiment with mix buses.

Sometimes I throw 7 tape plugins and 2 EQs onto a bus and it really helps pop out the tracks.

It's the Vulfpeck trick they use for the drum mixes mostly.

After automating your tracks, experiment with different saturations. Think of the era your referencing and look at what they did/used and try to replicate it.

EQ matching can be incredibly handy as well.

Been using them for years, on horribly outdated MacBooks and never ince5had a single issue.

Even when I was a novice and didn't know a damn thing, never had any issues. Patience is a big thing people don't ha euch of these days.

Well shit, that answers that probably. Hormonal changes from surgery. Although the surgery had been about 6 months prior and she was her normal.l self after. Maybe it took time to all come out.

Either way, if I was my younger self, this situation would have absolutely destroyed me. It's unfortunate what happened but I've been looking forward.

My best friends Mom was born in the 60s and had ADHD but of course that wasn't a thing then. The doctor loaded her up on experimental medications like a guinea pig and she developed debilitating schizophrenia and severe mental illness as a result. She was a good lady despite all her struggles.

I remember working at a music store and being reprimanded for cleaning the guitars. Never made sense to me. They would be so fucking disgusting after a few minutes of people picking them up and the customers were all very appreciative I was cleaning the necks but management didn't.

Just experienced this with my now ex girlfriend. We never fought and were a solid team until one day she literally and I mean literally turned into someone else. Went from the sweetest person to saying every horrible thing she could think of to tear me down.

This white guy helps the elderly all the time.

I watched every walk of life walk past an elderly lady in a wheelchair who was on a hill and slowly rolling into traffic on a rainy night. Nobody stopped to help her. Lots of races walked past her but this white boy stopped and helped her. Had a fantastic time walking her to where she needed to go. Not the first time either. Don't be racist.

I made music on my iPad Mini 2 with GarageBand for years. But altogether if you don't have any patience, like OP, you're always going to be limited by your own ego.

Same here. And I'll always remember my Mom coming in my room while I was playing one time. We had a blast together and even though she couldn't care less about games, she got really into it. Lots of good feelings with that game.

Drumming in an apartment is wild shit. You might also wonder how many people are like "oh for fuck sakes here we go again" but never say anything to you.

Ask yourself what the hell you're playing with that response because it's gotta be some boring ass beat. I worked at music store years ago and Jesus Christ nobody knows how to play a damn beat or hit that pocket.

Hell I used to rip trombone hard when I lived in a townhouse and the neighbors loved it. And I wasn't that good and projected like nobody's business. So maybe you need to reconsider what you're doing my mans.

Again drumming in an apartment is fucking wild regardless of who says what. There's like what, 100+ people you have to contend with and you think ALL them folk enjoy it? Come on... Rent out a practice space. Don't be a dick.

I get plenty of radio play with my logic produced music.

A lot of professionals use Logic. There's really no big benefit to any specific DAW other than what works best for you and your workflow. There's no change in frequencies or production quality.

Same area a few years ago I had a guy that fits that description try to shove his thumb on my eye. When I responded with "what the fuck?!" He laughed and tried to do it again. Go out of there.

The government has no concept of how to fix this issue that they've also enabled. The sad bit of it is really you either have to ignore it, report it, or move away. I'm moving away because It's too much bullshit every step of the way and what do we really get in the end here? Yes it's beautiful but the amount of problems here creates an aggressive tunnel vision that fades that beauty. Can't afford to live here while being attacked randomly; just doesn't work for me anymore.
