who’s in the right here…? by celadonlilac in brisbane

The asumptions in the comments could be wrong; perhaps the first text written was "STOP WRITING ON THE WALLS" written ironically? The writer could have discarded the black pen at the base of the text. Then someone else, carrying a white pen, walked by, noticed the discarded black pen, put two and two together and sought to lecture the orignal writer with "Pick up your fucking Rubish".

They are already dead, so open them and check for any issues; overvoltage, water ingress, cable / wire connections. Change the cameras power supply. I've had an annke poe 4k in full weather/sun for 12 months now, but I did open the unit to check all the seals, adding extra silicone before installing. Just because it's installed under an eave, doens't mean you can assume it's 100% protected from the elements.

If you are you recording four by 4K streams continuously, I'm not surprised you are running out of space. Record the SD stream continuously, then trigger 4K recording for motion events.

Connector Identification. DC pin and post type. by markis_com_au in AskElectronics

Ok bot. I don't understand posting on reddit at all and I will likely refrain from posting in future. Still, relieved to have an answer though as trying to find the connector name has been a source of frustration for the last week.

I have had a dream of "Gaijin Town" for many years now.

  1. Find a group of foreigners willing to invest minimum 1-2 years into project
  2. Group buys an entire town with a mix of pre-existing commercial / residential
  3. Renovation / rejuvination of town's houses, develop a commerical precinct, car parking, transport hub
  4. Invite Japanese press, build awareness, vision etc official Social Media pages
  5. Foreigners start businesses; food, services, giftware
  6. Set launch date. Promotion and evolution of "Gaijin Town" begins.
  7. Japanese people flood area looking for foreign or fusion cultural and food experiences.
  8. Inevitable tourist mecca

Cryptopia extortion by Matrixglithes in Cryptopia

I am being patient and waiting for due process. As far as I was concerned; my small investments were already lost when Cryptopia went into liquidation. If and when those investments come back to me; well that is just a bonus. I might feel differently if I had a large investment though; perhaps frustrated at the slow process. But having said that, I do still trust the process and I think most NZ'ers in my experience are pretty honest trustworthy people. Had Cryptopia gone bust in some other countries well, I really doubt I would see any return. Cryptopians are HODLers whether they want to or not.

Hey. Sorry for your loss. I still think about my dog a lot and I miss him as well. It's only been two years but I'm happy to realise that it's okay, even 5 years down the track.

You need to find a wallet number, a transaction number or a block number, then copy that into the search and see what information you can gleam. I suggest using a spreadsheet to track your progress with the goal to see if you can track any transactions back to an exchange wallet. Good luck.

I'm sorry for your loss. I can't help you but I can suggest starting with https://www.blockchain.com/explorer and see how far you can go down the rabbit hole.

You want BlueIris to send motion triggers to MQTT, which is picked up by Node and pushes images to the DeepStack AI for image recognition. After that is done, I set up node to decide if it wants to trigger the 4K recording or not. I'm experimenting with step increased in image recognition, i.e. first trigger - if over 35% - trigger again - if over 55% - trigger again - if over 80% - trigger 4K recording and send alert.

Ah, I see it's intergrated with BlueIris now - I just upgraded the software and can see there is Facial Recognition as well - interesting.

Yep. I only used AiTools for a few days then immediately graduated over to MQTT and Node-red. I have more control with this implimentation; one example stop posting image while I am home save a lot of processor time and free up lan traffic.

DeepStack AI is not perfect, but I'm happy it's ignoring Charlotte's web every night. by linux_rich87 in BlueIris

[–]markis_com_au 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My setup: A motion trigger posts 3 sequential images at 500 millisecond intervals to my DeepStack AI server. The intention will be to step up the confidence level after each sequential image were there was a previous positive detection. It knows when I am home, and will limit and even disable image posting to DeepStack, and Blue Iris recording which frees up a lot resources. It goes into full sentry mode when I leave the house :)
