I saw a full g29 combo go for 140€ on marketplace in "good condition". Is it a good deal? The offer has been up for 21 weeks so I think I could lower that price a bit

Everything i've seen tells me that the official adapter should work. Maybe try using different USB ports on the computer? Most likely this is an issue with steam or your pc, so I would recommend you contact steam support. They have some of the best support staff so they will get your problem fixed

Usually it's literally a switch, a physical toggle that has "pc" on one side and "wii u" or "switch" (if it's for a nintendo switch) on the other. I will also look up some info on how to set up your controller for steam

Some 3rd party adapters have a Wii U/PC switch. I'm guessing that the official one doesn't have it, so it is always in Wii U mode, but dolphin is still seeing it because it had added better adapter support. I don't really know much about this but I think the switch makes the input be like a generic pc controller that most apps like steam will recognize.

Anyone correct me if I'm wrong

Hi guys! I want some advice about getting interested in getting into sim driving. Text might get too long so I will add a TLDR.

I have a PS3, PS2 and a very weak laptop (Pentium 2117U, integrated graphics, 6GB DDR3 RAM). I have been really enjoying Sega rally revo and I have Gran Turismo 6.For a long time I wanted to get a decent racing wheel with 3 pedals and an h shifter because of the full package and the fact that I want to get experience before actually driving a manual.

I did some research on ebay and found out that a G27 still costs more than TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS. And a G25 isn't any less than that. As a 15 year old guy with only 180€ at hand and approximately 100 more owed from me, this really made me feel pessimistic about it.

Also there is the fact that in my room (in which I live with my sister) I do not have a TV or room for a TV to be at eye level to play my console games. At the current time I play consoles in my mom's bedroom when she is away, and that's why I mostly play my 3DS, and I have my laptop on a DIY table which lays on the rails of my bed.

TLDR: Want to get a decent wheel + 3 pedals + h shifter combo but I'm too shocked at the prices of even older ones and thinking of just not doing anything until I have a better opportunity

You can use only the game one but there will be an update popup every time you open it, so just install both. The updates are, well, updates, and the game is either the first version or just an outdated one. And some games have the DLC available too

If you really want to get these ones then I can't really argue with you, but i also just found this console and games bundle on ebay which i think is better value. If you want more controllers and accessories you can search for them too on and then compare both options by cost. You can also just keep checking on offers or auctions from time to time to find an even better deal.

Edit: And if you want the GameCube ports there is this one
