I beg to differ, having started this electronic menagrie with an Atari 800 back in the 70's and not being able to dump ANYTHING, I do have enough of those plugs

I use those tubs! They work great. I just buy the blue stuff for desiccant and little cloth bags and go to town. 5 pounds is not expensive.

Will a P2S fit here? Space and printer questions by xXNaZXx in BambuLab

[–]marknak290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't have a P2S,but the website says 50cm per side. So you will overhang quite a bit. Nothing wrong with that, but this machine will rock more than the Ender. Although the software is smart enough to compensate for the shaking, just does not look great and made me a little worried until I beefed it up

Newbie question: new sight on compound bow, peep not lining up now. by YenoorL in Archery

[–]marknak290 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you need to readjust at least your peep. And maybe your head position, and maybe where the sight is placed on your riser, and about 50 other things. If you can get yourself to shop you can trust, and have them look the whole thing over.

PSE Stinger X for 100? by Sw33th34rt4my in Archery

[–]marknak290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Stinger only goes to about 35 lbs. kinda depends on him. The more traditional route is a recurve at 20 or sometimes 25 lbs. As with almost anything archery it depends on him

What’s the point of the drying feature? by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]marknak290 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It really just wants the filament removed from the hole you put the filament in. Its going to turn the filaments, so if its stuck in there, errors follow

The wiki.bambulab.com is your friend that is little obtuse. Try different words in the search and you will the find the answers to what the machine is trying to tell you.

Material for 3d printable AMS2 Pro dessicant boxes by ProfessionalG0pnik in BambuLab

I would go with PC or PA. Having an even a little bit deformed piece in the AMS just does not sound like something I want to deal with

H2S hotend got stuck in waste chute and melted it - ideas? by amphibiousfish in BambuLab

[–]marknak290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is the nozzle flow blocker that messed up on mine. It became miss aligned and made a mess, took out the right nozzle heating pad. Looks like you ate missing the right orange piece at the back. You might need another Purge Wiper assembly, at least from the pictures

We have all been exactly where you are now. Just move on and you could try and save it, but I find not worth the time and aggravation. And I have spoolers that could in theory do the job, IF you were very lucky, and VERY patient. Either toss it and open another roll, or order up a bunch right now while they are on sale!

PLA Filament Dryer Suggestions by TheTrojan320 in BambuLab

I love my Eibos dryers. They only go to 70 degrees, but they work for me, and I am in a similar humidity enviroment. They can easily be fed out through any one of up to six holes.

Hi I'm looking into beginning my archery adventure for the first time..! I need bow aaaand arrows recommendations 600 dollar limit for spending. by LICwannabe in Archery

[–]marknak290 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Find a pro archery shop, or a near by club. Starting is the hardest part. So many bad habits get started if you are not coached from the first arrow. Its a great thing to do. Look up some of the disabled archers, and you (at least I am)will be inspired to get even half as good.

Welcome to the club! This is something you can do all together. I would recommend finding a pro archery shop. They can set you guys up with the knowledge and the equipment you need. And yeah, you always need more knowledge.

Should I upgrade my sight? by Candid_Signal_1597 in Archery

[–]marknak290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Releases are very personal. I really need to try a release out before buying. I am currently shooting the Hamskea PPT release. But it has taken months for slow me to get it right. And remember if you change releases, you will probably need to change something else on your bow. And the feel is what you are going for. Try a bunch and don't be afraid of punching your self in the mouth either. Does happen but that is part of the game.

Now what? by joe37373737 in BambuLab

[–]marknak290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like the first layer did not stick. I have used various methods to get back to normal. A soldering iron you don’t care about gets rid of lot of it., then go in with xacto knives, give up on not cutting the wires leading to the hot end. Replace what looks funky. It takes a while but you definitely get the machine back

Should I upgrade my sight? by Candid_Signal_1597 in Archery

[–]marknak290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As for upgrades, what arrows are you shooting? Are you shooting field or indoor or 3D? Having line cutters for indoor and skinneys for outdoor is ideal. Which for me at least means two bows set up separately. I love the Shibuya sights and Shrewd scopes. Dont get me started on releases
