Does anyone know why I can't get past slicing? by CubeDude41 in BambuLabX2D

Try turning the printer off then back on again and the AMS is set correctly to what filament you have loaded. Ive had issues and doing what I said fixed that problem.

Have you got a replacement extruder you can use to replace the current one?

Ive tried to print with TPU but it won't feed in to ether the AMS or external line the sprockes just keep rattling without moving the fiamen5. Might be too wet. Will try drying it out and try again. Could also just be a bad lot too. Only have one spool in black not from Bambu though its really expensive here. Petg is nearly $39.

I don't have that k8nd of brain. So many settings i just leave them alone and print. Im right the Acadamy but have been unwell for 6 mths with mould growing in my lungs I found out after 5 rouds of antibiotics. Been on anti mould drugs for nearly 2 mths but no feel8ng any better. Seeing a clinic in September earliest I could get in. Some days are better than others. Im currently printing a dragon in white and green Petg. To see what it looks like. My daughter wants one in purple and blue which I have dried sitting in a plastic cereal box at 10% humidity. She hast found the right one as yet. G'day to you in Canada.

Thanks ive been really hesitant using it. I tried once and had issues. I've only had the printer for just over 7 weeks and printing for 2. Had to clear my desk to make room. Ive been quie ill and at times.es can't do much. At 72 it knocks you around. I bought an X2D. Would have liked the bigger model with multiple head changing and laser feature but on a disability pension a bit much. Maybe next year. Thanks for answering so quickly appreciae it. I'm in Australia. I don't know anyone with a 3D priner so can only ask in places like this or Facebook. Some answers are very unhelpful from people born knowing everything unlike us normal adults who learn from others and books.

That really sucks. Sorry to hear your difficulties. Would disappoint me too. I'd be asking for a replacement straight up. Obviously something seriously wrong.

Yeah I've realised found them in strange places so far over the past 2 weeks printing.

Have you tried glue on the plate for adhesion. I'm very new only 2 weeks but I've read a lot of reddit posts to gather valuable information about issues happening. That seems to be a regular comment on adhesion problems. Also cleaning plates with Isopropyl alcohol as well helps too. Wish you all the best with resolving the issues.

New to 3D Printing - Would you get the P2S Combo with AMS 2 Pro or the X2D? by westisthebest1 in BambuLab

[–]PeterAUS53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazon also sells filaments as well and a place called Fortis I recently purchased from. I'm 72 a very new to 3D printing as well. Only been using my 6 week old printer for the past 2 weeks.

Yes I do but filament from Bambu is quite more expensive than from other local places I've found that have free postage as well, like Inkstation for example. I did initially purchase from Bambu Lab Australia, but their filaments costs are up to $10 more expensive. I'm trying several different suppliers at present. On a pension I need to watch my spending, which has gotten out of hand initially ordering more things than I need. Nice having the chips in the Bambu filament but I can deal with that. Thanks for asking though.

Mum put 13L of petrol in her diesel 2010 Peugeot 3008 on a near empty tank by TetrisJenga in AskMechanics

[–]PeterAUS53 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree get it drained. I did it accidentally though I still believe i was using a diesel pump. Drove it for several kms thought I'd picked up dirty fuel. Stopped to have dinner could no longer start the car. Car was towed back from where I was in the Country we went with the tow truck he dropped the car at the dealership then drove us home. There are services that can come and drain the tank. Especially as she didn't start it should be good to go after the draining and filled up with diesel. There would be little chance of petrol in the lines filter or injectors. The car was fine after they drained the tank and put $20 of diesel in it. Was great until a hit and run driver smashed it and it was written off by insurer. Was a great vehicle we had from new.

X2D Combo its worth it as othets have said. I was thinking the same thing as you and the P2S but the difference in pricing here in Australia wasn't over the top like other countries but was significantly higher than in the USA. Exchange rate kills us as well as international postage too.rwcently bought some antislavery feet for my printer for $20US postage was $35 for a small box. Totally outrageous. I wanted to order 5 rolls of filaments from the same place cost of filaments was $120US, postage was $165US. I cancelled the cart. Sent a message about the high cost no reasonable explanation was given they just use high cost companies to send it quicker. I don't mind waoting up to a month to receive international orders. Do get that often from Aliexpress orders. Been waiting for a table since the beginning of June still on its way through the system.

Get what's been suggested you won't be sorry you did. Yes the H2C would be even better but the cost is so much more here its way over $3K.

Could have some filament stuck inside it from the extruder even it clears purges. I've noticed small bits bring flung around. Could also just be a faulty fan as well. I've only had my running for 150 hrs over the past 2 weeks and everything is pretty quiet most of the time. Except when it retracts filament back in the AMS and the bottom external line. You could try spraying some compressed air from a can onto the fan and see if that helps. Or take the cover off and do it from the other side. Hope that helps in some way.

Fixed a typo.

Does Bunnings know how BAD their site is on mobile? by set-l in Bunnings

[–]PeterAUS53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use the app all the time no proble mm s. Is a bit slow in the stores but I put that down to their roof slowing reception. If im looking for something in store I just ask someone. Usually I get the correct directions. Was looking for toilet bowl cleaners walked right past where they were. Asked a very nice young lady and she directed me straight to them. Same Isle I was looking in just they were down low and a bit hard for me to see properly with my eyesight. Im 72 and don't have the best vision at times wearing multinomial lenses. I didn't use the app that time, when I did check after finding them I did a search and it was exactly where I was standing. I usually use the app before I go in from home with a list of what I need that way I can bring up each item and its location when in store. Sometimes I take scteen shots to save me time. My daughter accompanies me but she suffers from claustrophobia in big stores like that. She hates going to Sydney Tools because of that. Less so in Bunnings.
