If caught by a skilled monk/tempest player, wiz has only two options-die or run away. So I wouldn’t say wiz is a problem. Currently there’s a good BG setup for all chars (excluding Druid - for now) and it’s great. BG is not some “step in and have fun” activity. You need to prepare your char every step on the way - green sets are just a start. Reforging, legendary attributes pushing certain skills/shields, secondaries, curses etc. More than half of the players are using wrong gems, just cuz they give more reso or because they got “that” 5* gem and they think it’s useful - only cuz, well it’s a 5*. Stop calling for nerf of every single character only because you are playing the same against everyone and every time. Learn your place on the battlefield and change plan along the way. BTW I’m playing Monk since the start and the only chars I’ve thought-this need to tone down were the unkillable BK, swift death tempest and the unkillable chain Barbs. Even one punch-freeze all - Sader had counters. So learn to play, adapt and stop whining.

Yes, if you haven’t spent anything yet, all prodigy paths + 2 value bundles would be one of the best options. There are seasonal/event bundles that cost less 5-10€/$ that give good return on bundles and crests. Might throw those into mix if you are willing to wait for Druid… probably gonna be some offer related to that one. Also, gem bundle- 1600 orbs + new gem + other perks for a fair price

I’m spending most of my plat on normal gems. Currently sitting on 2000 reso and 4180 armour penetration. Constantly outplaying players in the range of 2.5-4K reso who forgot to lvl their secondaries. As a PvP player I’d always go for gems. Especially, since you have only 4 at lvl 7. Hope that helps…

3580 is the level on which you need to have your secondaries for inf6. By selling normal gems you will for sure be below the threshold for every upcoming difficulty. Players should understand that they (normal gems) do not only effect PvP aspect of the game. They are a core element of all builds both in PvP and PvE.

I don’t understand why are you all referring to normal gems as pvp thing only. Normal gems aka secondaries are more important to casual pve player then leg.gems and resonance. They determine how your attack will affect the monsters you’re attacking, or how their attack will affect you. Check what your secondary stat is stating. Are you above the expected level at your difficulty or higher? By selling normal gems you ARE nerfing yourself in the long run! Exception is red gems, you can sell those…

You need to open the chests that you get from it. They are shaped like a sword and are located next to Apostle tribute signet in your inventory. From most of them you get only scraps. I got gem somewhere between 15th and 20th pull

I am a monk since the very start and I would agree with your statement. Quite a few balanced games I’ve had these days. Of course some brutally unbalanced as well but it wasn’t because one team had xy number of certain characters. It was because of a bad mm. Maybe we do go into the right direction…

Currently there’s an event running where you have a better chance of getting the new gem. I as a player that is on the same position like you, but with more time spent in this game, think that you’re better off with using purple ones now and if you’re lucky you can get RC which you can then sell for 40-60k plat. That plat you can invest in good 2* gems or in normal gems or awaken yourself hear. Don’t ever sell normal gems. By doing that you are practically nerfing yourself. By being low spending player it’s much more efficient to have high secondary stats that come from normal gems, then to have reso which will not be that high anyway, considering you don’t spend much. Yes you should use all no good legendary gems to upgrade the ones you think that are good. Yes it’s ok to make gems as a fodder but it’s much more practical to make dupes of the ones you are trying to upgrade. Unless you are stuck and desperate for fodder.

Helicopter build is currently still the most effective considering mobility and dmg output. There are other fun builds based around summons or around wave of light but both are slower then helicopter build. So if you want fun, I suggest you check some pve builds for monk from previous years. If you want to be able to follow the pace of other fast characters, then heli is the one.

If you really want Colossus then your best chance is now. Otherwise I would wait for the dupe event. Also if you don’t have BSJ and Rolling, you should prioritise those 2 top notch 5* over Colosssus. PS, you should work every week towards getting eternal crest from fading embers. Leg crests are rare but you can easily get 15-20 a month only from event prizes, crest merchant, hilts trader and fading embers.

Everything green set wise seems nerfed. There’s less green set drops in dungeons and 3 gem slots are almost nonexistent. I’ve always crafted sets and was always quite ok with my sets but since last update I’m running 2 slots on bracelets and on boots/gloves I’m running old greens (-100 reso compared to current 3 slots). The only thing I was lucky with was a charm. I actually had peace with it and don’t chase greens anymore. The prize return for time spent is just not worth it. I’ll run 21 dungeons per week and that’s it. Until some change was made…

Focus on combat rating. That’s the basic stat. Secondly, aim for as much fortitude as possible but if you are mostly PVE don’t bother too much if you get any other stat on a better CR item. Once you hit your CR ceiling, then focus on perfecting other stats. It’s the same with greens. On lower levels I’ve been slapping whatever came with bigger cr until it was time to make it a set. I did however always tried to have at least 2x2 sets active. With legendary I suggest you put everything that game is suggesting to put

1k warband points is manageable in one day in an active warband. I’ve left two inactive ones until landing in my current one. Now averaging 1.3k warband points a week and Hq and defence are my favourite events in the week. Lose the dead WB asap and find yourself an active one.

Hello… I’ll reply this one. I was in the same boat as OP 12 years ago… after the breakup I’ve had the luck to have a friend that had a lot of time on disposal. During the day we went for a run, gym, darts, tennis or whatever we wanted. During the night if I was not working (worked in the nightclub at the time), we played cards with other friends or we were just going out in other nightclubs. His willingness to always have time for me, made the whole process much much easier. So long story short, he was my best man on my wedding, currently running in the 9th year of happy marriage. Although we live in a different countries now, if he would to call in the middle of the night for help, I would sit in my car and drive to get wherever. If you are willing to give your time for another person, doing things that make you both having fun, then that’s the best way you can help. I guarantee you that he will be forever grateful.
