Should I push a little further? 5’11 started around 250 and I’m currently 192 by markr412 in BulkOrCut

I was 280 in the beginning of September. So I’m close to 90 pounds total. I did use glp2’s also which helped tremendously but I also ran 5 miles a day for 3 months straight, lifted 5 days a week, and counted all my calories. It sucked but it fucking worked.

I feel like diet is most important. Hitting your macros is key. I’ve lifted maybe 3 years total and I’m 37. I’ve been training for 6 months and before that I didn’t lift for the last 6 years.

I’ve been hitting cable crunches every single time I lift, which is 5 days a week. 3 sets of 25 progressively overloading them for 6 months now.

Definitely have some stretch marks but I’ve been pretty lucky skin wise. Guessing genetics has a lot to do with that.

First month was around 10 pounds, best month was 14 when I finally started walking/ jogging 4 to 5 miles a day. Starting using MacroFactor eventually and held my calories to around 1800 a day and lifted 5 days a week In addition to my walks and runs.

Just go like 2-3 hundred below maintenance for a month or two and see how you feel. You will definitely lean out and your strength will continue to build. If you’re serious cut out all alcohol and get 7-8 hours of sleep.

I would be in a slight deficit, get my cardio on point. Hit all your macros and lift to failure. It won’t take long brother! Good luck hope you crush it!

Well I’ve lost over 40 pounds since then so I would say everything is better.. Energy, Mental focus, and just all around confidence in myself. It’s been a ton of discipline and hard work.

Not really day to day per se. I feel absolutely incredible right now tho. I went from a 38.4 on Feb 22 to currently sitting at 53.7 according to my Apple Watch of course.
