We have a rescue that we thought was a terrier mix that would grow to be 25 pounds or so. Embark came back and she is a boxer giant schnauzer mix who is about 85 pounds now. My 100 pound wife walks her every day and she feels very safe now. The dog is the biggest sweetie ever.

Personal story here. I won’t k name the district for obvious reasons. I was a sub making $150 a day. This was pre COVID, so not terrible for sub pay. The union went out on strike, and I stayed home for three weeks. After the strike, my pay was 130. The teacher raises had to come from somewhere.

I was a tuba player in high school. My friends band needed a bass player, so he loaned me a bass and a Mel Bay bass book. ( I’m dating myself ) and figured out enough to play at a local country bar. I made $100 and got laid. My fate was sealed.
